The demorats can see our so-called front runners are basically RINOs, and they seem to like it that way. How telling that so many RINOs here on FR side with them.

GOP Cattle Call 2008: Week of 12/04/06
by Trapper John
Fri Dec 08, 2006 at 05:48:36 PM PST
Imagine, if you will, that the three front-runners for the Democratic nomination were: 1) Joe Lieberman; 2) a fundamentalist Christian governor of Utah, and; 3) an anti-choice former mayor of Colorado Springs who isn’t just against gay marriage, but who actively and publicly dislikes gay people.
Ouch. That wouldn’t be much fun. In fact, it might well sour the Dem base on the entire primary process. Fortunately, we have a much less offensive candidate pool. But Republicans looking at their real field of candidates must feel much the same as we would in the nightmare scenario above. Because each one of the top three candidates in the inaugural 2008 GOP Cattle Call has at least one trait that makes them anathema to large swaths of the Republican base.

The only advantage the Democrat “victory” 2006 had, is the fact that they are exposing themselves as the incompetent, delusional and treasounos fools they are. What Pelosi has done so far is gold for Republican campaigners.
Also the Democrat takeover of Capitol Hill (hopefully) waked up the Republicans from their collective sleep.

The title of this piece should be
“Democrats Rise Has Pluses, Say RINOs Wallowing in Deomcratic Liberal Swill”
There are VERy few “Centrists” in the Republican Party.
Most of us are RINOs or conservatives.

Under the Republican majority, those bills would have never gotten to the floor, he explained before heading back to his district. Now they have been brought to the floor, and Ive voted for them.

These Bills are BAD...but weak kneed Repubs and (S)Socialist Rep. Ferguson a dupe who voted to help Union Crime bosses strong arm their members and continue to destroy US businesses and to raise the minimum wage in order to make even more citizens unemployable as the illegals dominate the low skilled jobs...

The article doesn't say
how he voted on those bills, just that he voted.
It does make in interesting point - if these 'not-so-very-bright' Democrats can get this many bills onto the floor (notwithstanding the nature of the bills) why is it that a Republican lead congress couldn't, or wouldn't?

Under the Republican majority, those bills would have never gotten to the floor, he explained before heading back to his district. Now they have been brought to the floor, and Ive voted for them. Under the republican majority those bills should have been buried under Jimmy Hoffa, and if Ferguson voted for them he ought to just go ahead and switch parties.

many Republicans from swing districts in the Northeast are finding that life under Democratic rule has its advantages. There aren't many Reps left in the NE. We lost ten in PA, CT, NY, and NH in 2006.
