You mean the Centrist/liberal Republicans who were not voted out of office in 2006.
At the end of the day, it was not conservatives who lost disproportionately, but moderate to liberal Republicans loosing to leftist democrats.

The Congress critter in question is a idiot . The fact that these folks are more interested in retaining personal perks of power & position even at the cost of the nations prosperity & possibly its survival is disgusting.
