Local lawyer disbarred for kid-sex online chats (ACLU type's honesty, trustworthiness questioned)

.....Chatting online about sex with someone he believed was a 12-year-old boy has earned a Jersey City lawyer permanent disbarment in New Jersey.....Steven C. Cunningham's guilty plea to one count of attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child, an act that "reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer," according to the NJ Office of Attorney Ethics. On three separate occasions between September and October 2004, Cunningham chatted online via his home computer with a person he believed to be a 12-year-old boy....In reality, it was an undercover investigator.....Cunningham "described, in lurid detail, certain sexual acts that he hoped to perform on the boy" ........"He also described sex acts that he hoped to teach the boy to perform on him, inviting the child to 'get together in New York,'" according to court documents.

.....the state Supreme Court ordered disbarment for life, saying society's view of such crimes is more harsh today. "...the court is obviously viewing them as among the most serious violations an attorney can commit...." The disbarment only affects his status in New Jersey; authorities said he also is licensed to practice law in New York (and are) notifying authorities there. Court papers say he was employed by the ACLU in New York, but officials at that office did not immediately return calls.

I am sure the ACLU feels that violating young boys is a Civil right. They fight against God & Country and anything else that is moral, why should they not fight for pedophiles.

"...reflects adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer"

That kind of activity does reflect badly on all the honest, trustworthy ACLU lawyers.

Oh but they do. What other reason do you think they fight against Christianity and the moral code of conduct that Christian faith calls for?

No question. According to news reports, pedophilia is no longer hidden. For example:

(1) There are now on-line chat rooms dedicated to pedophilia---that give suggestions on how to get little kids in pedophiles' cars.

(2) Another news report told how pedophiles arrange group trips to toy stores---the pedophiles gather to look over and comment on possible sex victims.

(3) Even a presidential candidate sees nothing wrong with pedophilia.

Rudy Giuliani: The Knight and "The Queen"

According to The London Times, New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani gives kisses before he leaves every morning, but to neither his estranged wife, nor his girlfriend.

Instead, says The Times, “Sir Rudy” gives a peck on the cheek to the two homosexual men he’s living with. "We always get a little kiss, it’s cute,” says wealthy car dealer Howard Koeppel, with whom Giuliani has been sharing an apartment since June.

When Giuliani was recently knighted, Koeppel tells The Times that he told “Sir Rudy” to call him “Queen Howard.” Koeppel (63) and his homosexual lover Mark Hsiao (41) have been comforting Giuliani, and trying to make him laugh, in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.

On the way to a recent fundraising dinner for the pro-homosexual state lobby group, The Empire State Pride Agenda (ESPA), Koeppel ribbed Giuliani by saying that if the ESPA was able to raise $100,000 donation for the homosexual victims of the September 11 attacks, Giuliani should agree to appear on Showtime’s controversial Queer as Folk dressed in drag. Surprisingly, Giuliani agreed.

Marty Algaze of Gay Men’s Health Crisis once summed up Queer as Folk — a show that touts graphic sexual activity as one of its biggest draws — as one that would “shock a lot of people.” Showtime’s Queer as Folk was inspired by the original series in Britain, which featured a storyline in which a 29-year-old man has a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy.

The propensity to shock people is not new to Giuliani, who likes to dress in women’s clothes as a stage act, and even did so once at a Pride Agenda fund-raiser.

According to the Times, Giuliani has attended every “gay pride” parade in New York during his eight years as mayor. In 1992, during his first run for mayor, Giuliani took part in a homosexual “pride” parade that included a contingent of pedophile activists marching behind a banner for NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association).

Disgusting.

I didn’t know about any of that.

You can be sure that any thoughts I had of voting for “Julie-Andrews” have just vannished.

If that photo doesn't put the final nail in Guiliani's coffin, I don't know what will.

A politician doesn't become a player on the world stage with pictures like that (and the drag queen ones) floating around the ether.

Rudy is a toasted bagel.

Perhaps at one of Rudy’s campaign stops someone will actually ask him if he is bi-sexual.

I hope this country hasn't sunk to that, but after "boxers/briefs?" it wouldn't surprise me.

(Snicker) I can see it all now---Rooty'll kiss the questioner (male or female), smile broadly, and wink. Later Rooty's campaign will say he "forgot" the question.

If Rudy doesn’t think Hillary has 8x10 glossies of that picture ready for campaign ads, he’s too dumb to be in politics. The man has way too much baggage to run for president. He should take his campaign funds, settle down on Long Island with his current wife, and socialize with his gaggle of unsavory friends.

I dont know what you mean by sinking to that. IMO its a legitimate question. If the man is a closet freak we should know it before we vote.

How permanent is permanent?

Remember some states allow PERMANENTLY disbarred lawyers to REAPPLY FOR ADMISSION after five years. Bill Clinton did this.

Good point----probably will be reinstated if he sticks to having sex with legal age youngsters /s.

I believe the Supreme Court was the source of the Clinton 5 year ban.

Would not be surprised if Rooty knew McSleazy. One distinguishing feature is that gays love to gather in one spot frequently.....to make (ahem) new friends. Mc Sleaze’s lover Golan Cipel used to live in NYC as well.

Maybe they can name a rest stop after both of them....I still am so angry that McSleazy never was charged for anything. That scummer is now trying to get custody of his daughter too. Shaking my head in total disgust! ~P~

Another “gay” lawyer removed from practice. I can’t wait till he claims he is a victim of another hate crime and he should have his license restored. But, but, this is part of the gay lifestyle.
