Wishing you happiness and peace and thank you for sharing with us during such a difficult time. Your mom is in a better place.
Kay was loved and inspiration to us. We appreciate your efforts to communicate with her friends here on FR.
This is foremost a political site but as you have experienced, Freepers support one another and their families in many ways....especially by prayer.
May God bless you and your family. And may the Peace and Love of Our Heavenly Father comfort and guide you.
May the good Lord bless and comfort you and your family.
Thank you. I hope peace will come to poppyseed and she can learn to recall happy memories of her beloved mother. I’m glad she saw Freepers for what they really are. But, we all make our choices and that’s what’s great about the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Woudln’t have it any other way.

I’m so sorry. I’m sitting here getting chilled as I read about Kayak. My pastor’s mother is going through the very same thing right now. One day they will both fall asleep in their rooms and wake up in God’s. What a glorious day that will be! Our hearts may be broken, but theirs will be made whole and well. God bless you all and give you HIS peace.
Nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee! E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me, still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to thee; nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down, darkness be over me, my rest a stone; yet in my dreams I’d be nearer, my God, to thee; nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
There let the way appear, steps unto heaven; all that thou sendest me, in mercy given; angels to beckon me nearer, my God, to thee; nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
Then, with my waking thoughts bright with thy praise, out of my stony griefs Bethel I’ll raise; so by my woes to be nearer, my God, to thee; nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
Or if, on joyful wing cleaving the sky, sun, moon, and stars forgot, upward I fly, still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to thee; nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee!
