Or better yet, I hope there is a local radio talk show host that will invite Phelps and company for an interview with the condition of giving up the protesting.
That was well over a decade ago, when I still read the Tribune. There was a microscopic story about page 8 of the second section that told me what had happened the day before. This was long before the war and any demonstrations at military funerals.
I guess we will have to SUE them into bankruptcy!
If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that Mr. Phelps and some members of his cult flew to Iraq to meet with Saddam to give him their support for his stance against the United States. Of course Saddam had no idea who they were, but through the efforts of one of his p.r. advisors, he met with them, apparently to thank them for their support. If this turd and his inbred cult show up at any of the funerals for the VT victims, I hope that law enforcement turns a very blind eye from them and allows a little bit of vigilante justice to be performed ... I think that it is the only way that this group is going to get the message that they are not to be seen nor heard from ever again.

They seem to have a more complete transcript of the pro-Saddam support promulgated by the Phelps clan. He it is in its entirety:

I know Sean Hannity interviewed the crazy daughter when the Amish school shootings happened, although they failed to protest those because someone in Ohio gave them an hour of airtime on their radio show.
I think they’re mainly attention seekers, and the more people ignore them, the more they’ll go away. But do they seem to protest all funerals these days, use to be as I understand it funerals of gay people and would protest outside of gay-related churches. Guess they wanted more attention.
It was only a matter of time the wackos came out from under the wood bench. I figured the hate America, hate Bushers would come out form under the rocks. W here is it going to help their cause if they look like fools which we all know they are? Why doesn’t their leader Geogre Soros and their half wit Moore come out from the woods and join in?
