Our old buddy Dennis Kucinich chose an interesting time to post his intent to file impeachment charges against Cheney. I suppose he chose today to keep it low on th media radar.
Note: This is an except from the Washington Post. We cannot copy full articles from this source.

My teeth would grind every time I heard Dennis Kucinich mention; but since I heard Dennis Miller refer to his as that Gollem Guy from “Lord of the Rings”, I can dismiss him and his kooky ideas with a smile.

They have no shot, of course, but they are insane.

Someone ought to file impeachment charges against Dennis Kucinich for wasting taxpayers monies on his stupid witchhunts. If he spent as much time trying to do good for the nation as he does in trying to destroy someone, there might be a reason for him to be in Congress. I haven’t seen anything to recommend him and the majority of Democrats. They haven’t done one creditable good thing for the nation since they took over both Houses. They’ve spent their time trying to bring down the President and every Republican (except a few like Hagel)and in the process, they have hurt our nations standing in foreign countries and they’ve done irreparable harm to our military. I’d like to see MANY of them tarred and feathered and run out of town. There needs to be a good house cleaning in the Senate and House!

Actually, the Vice President is explicitly mentioned in Article II, Sec. 4, as someone who can be impeached.
"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

Article II, section 4 of the Constitution: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Dennis should go up to the mother ship and just fly into the sunset? How did they get that fool in congress?Where ever he came from I hope the mother ship picks him up soon. All he is doing is wasting the governments time and my money. He should donate his salary back to the government. The money we wasted paying this fool should come back to us the taxpayers.

What I did not say very clearly is a VP cannot be impeached and removed without a conviction, treason, bribery and other high crimes.

Reading some of the comments on the WashPost, it looks like ther are some folks just asking for a visit from people in dark suits who speak into their lapels.
I expect most of them are charter members of DU, from the filth they are spewing.
Would be lovely to present them with a list of the comments of all their idols, in the last 10 years, who agreed with everything the President has said and done.
Until the action was taken by a Republican president, that is. Then began the backpedaling and just plain lying, by most of the dems still in office today.

Same-o, same-o
I said on another thread that we will get a new one evey week until the election, and implied the possiblity that there might be a connection with scum Mr. Cho and the socialists via quota's, via al quida, via a circuitous X-File type 'program ... ahhhh ... never mind ... I'm probably crazy anyway.
Unless James Brown's body is not molderin' in the grave ...
Larry Brickhead is the Dad,
Rosie O'Donut is passe',
Imus is not one of usus,
We'll dwell on the murderin' rat bastard Cho for a while,
Dipsy Denny is probably filing to take the focus off of the failed gun control issue and state school quota's and Corzine's self inflicted (by proxy) near death experience.
We live in historical and fascinating times.

From the sounds of that article, Pelosi, Murtha, Reid and most of the leadership of the democratic congress qualify quite well for impeachment.

Call me nutty, but part of me hopes that someone does bring these charges because it will force everyone to put their charges on the record under oath. Instead of mouthing off their anti-Bush/Cheney rants to the press, where their words don't go in check for accuracy, they are forced to bring the discussion to an honest(sic) legal level. It is similar to the Joseph Wilson issue. He accused the VP of sending him to Niger and said the President lied to the NYT BUT, in his 9/11 commission hearings he contradicted what he said to the NYT, the sad part is the latter doesn't get the press.
