No truck race this week.
BTW, I want to see the COT race the COY on the same track.
Grudge race COT vs COY I like it. :)
Other gud news; Mark still 11th after missing 2 races.
Cool on the Tony Stewart show. I wonder if Smoke is looking for a 'relief' driver - for the #42 car! lol.
You sure it’s a COT race?? I cant find the answer anywhere but was pretty sure that our 2nd race in November was the COT race and this wasn’t... Also just a heads up there is a Truck race this weekend, just not in Phoenix, Its at Kansas.

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Shane Huffman will return to Phoenix International Raceway to drive the No. 88 Navy Accelerate Your Life Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS in the NASCAR Busch Series Bashas Supermarkets 200 on Friday, April 20.
Prior to racing at Phoenix, Huffman and JR Motorsports team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. will spend Wednesday aboard the USS Cleveland LPD-7. The vessel is the fourth amphibious transport dock in the Austin class. Commissioned in April 1967, the USS Cleveland is home ported out of San Diego, Calif., as a member of the Pacific Fleet Amphibious Forces. At 569 feet in length, the USS Cleveland has divided her time between operations in the Eastern Pacific and extended deployments to the Western Pacific. It is normally assigned as part of an Expeditionary Strike Group and has performed a wide variety of missions.

10. Damn! A wrecked Hendrick car still drives better than any car I raced in the beginning of 2005.
9. I wonder if I can borrow the setup book, too
8. Not fair! Kyles car has a tiki bar in the back! That sure explains all those accidents his rookie year
7. Why does Kyle have hedge clippers, a lawn edger, and a weed eater under the seat? Oh, yeah; he must need something to keep all that facial hair in check.
6. Its cool seeing your name twice in a full field run down unless you are 36th and 37th.
5. Team Communications can be highly entertaining: Oh, Je-eeeeefff! Hi Jeff! I came to the dark side, Jeff! Am I annoying you yet, Jeff?! Jeff, can I have your autograph? Name the baby Dale, Jeff! Jeff, youre my hero
4. Damn Just because he has Cheez-Its ON the car doesnt mean he has Cheez-Its IN the car.
3. Ha! I knew I could make my fans cheer for Hendrick!
2. I sure hope Teresa is watching
1. Is this seat WET? The little ^%##&*$$#, no wonder he didnt wanna get back in!
Pretty neat perks he’s got there!
I bet there will be pics later from today.........I hope.
That’s exactly what I was referring to! :)

Nascar connection to VT.
Listening to the driver introductions while on the way to our seats we heard Flash's name announced which was followed by big-time Boos.
I was LMAO!
Great lookin' thread btw!
I'll post some pics of the race on the TMS thread.
Yippee looking forward to them.
Glad you made it home!!
I would have loved to been a fly on the wall for the Monday morning meeting at HMS.
I was really surprised at all the naysayer articles about why Jr should NOT have done that. What a load.
If someone were to ask Dale Jr, "How bad have you got it?"....what do you think he would say?
"Well, I'm having my go-cart track resurfaced, does that count?"
BTW, had to take my vehicle back to the dealer today - again. They said it was fixed. Same issue. What crap.
I'll give the service rep credit, when I called him this morning and said, "Who fixed this thing? Stevie Ray Wonder?" He laughed. I said, "Don't laugh, when I bring the vehicle back I might forget about the right turn into the service area and just continue driving right on into the show room area!"
Without hesitation he said, "no problem, I'll let the boss know we got a hot one coming in and we need more vehicles in front of the show room windows!"
That made me giggle.
To heck with the naysayers, his fans were 100% proud that he did that for a friend.
When asked how did it run? “Like a wrecked car” LOL
I would be almost willing to bet Shrub took off in a huff like he’s done before with his no comments to reporters etc.
The reporters don’t matter but his team did. Jr got him 3 points. lol
I hope you get the car back FIXED!! :)
BreakingNews....... Mikey replaces #55 crewchief with Buddy Sisco. [sp?]
Per ESPN Now.
Must have scooped Jayski on the MW CC news, he has nothing yet.
No deal with NE Patriots/Kraft for Yates.
They are looking for and NEED funding.
Biffle may explore his options before signing contract extension with Roush for beyond 2008. That team has had a lot of inquiries for sponsorship to replace Ameriquest who bailed out.
Power rankings are dedicated to VT this week. All Cup and Busch cars will carry the VT emblem this weekend as well.
You know something has / had to change.
Did they find the culprit?
I've been keeping an eye open for news about DJ and Matt Borland - meshing, Y/N?, etc., not much to be found.
Nothing but questions.
WoW! Outstanding opening page! Nice work!
Happy WEDnesDAY to all...picking drivers? Nah, it’s all worthless for the rest of the season...I’ll just draw numbers out of the hat!
Ya do know that Dale Sr. and Flash were actually good friends, like mentor-mentee and had several business interests together...?
WHAT on earth will #8 fans do IF IF IF Jr. goes to HENDRICK? because DEI and Evil Stepmom won’t let him have the company?
That was then, this is now!
Jr. will never go to the darkside. (unless it’s a black #3)
You are most likely very correct in that...but, you know $$$$ makes people do strange things!
Now as for this.........
Re: Jr to Hendrick -"You are most likely very correct in that...but, you know $$$$ makes people do strange things!"
That would be most people but not Jr Earnhardt. I just don't see him being number car # 3 behind JG AND JJ. Casey Mears is finding out why Vickers found greener pastures. Large teams cannot have every car a top car, even Rousch.
Now as for Childress, that's different because he would have his OWN identity there setting him aside from Happy and Nawthurn. I agree with NYT.
My tagline is looming........he will be able to talk to other teams after that date. I am willing to bet he could go anywhere he wants. As I've said before, Budweiser will go, most of the DEI crew will go. The only thing is the #8 will never be released by TE and THAT is a BIG problem for him.
If she won't budge on the 51%, he could take a one year extension with the understanding he gets the #8 after that if she still won't agree to the terms.

Dale Jrs Blog
Hangin Out on the Steamin Cleve
Published by DaleJr April 19th, 2007
Whats up everyone. Dale Jr. here, coming to you from the motorcoach lot of Phoenix International Raceway. Its been a busy couple of weeks, so busy that I havent had much time to blog. My buddy Matt Good was kind enough to post a guest blog last week, and I appreciated it! He was with us during a weird Texas weekend, which included having to bunker down in the TMS Infield Care Center with a bunch of other drivers and families while tornados dropped and storms passed. We were fortunate that nothing happened at the speedway, but after seeing the damage caused by the storms in other areas of Fort Worth and Dallas, Im glad we didnt take any chances. We were lucky.
So here we are in Phoenix after a short time at home. We shot a new commercial for Wrangler all day Tuesday at my old Busch shop. That was actually a lot of fun, because the director and the cast of actors were really cool. Then I woke up at 5 a.m. Wednesday morning and boarded a plane for San Diego, where Shane and I visited a Navy base and toured the USS Cleveland, the oldest amphibious assault ship in the Navys Pacific Fleet. (One of the sailors called it The Steamin Cleve I thought that was funny!) The early wake-up call was well worth it. I cant even begin to describe how impressive it is to be on a big ship like that and see the hundreds of sailors at work. It makes me appreciate our partnership with the U.S. Navy, because the people on board these ships most of them just out of high school are true heroes. We were brought to the Cleveland on MH-60S helicopters assigned by the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 85 High Rollers. That was a crazy ride! Im going to post some pictures on my IP, so check em out!
Weve got practice soon, so Im going to get rolling. Have a great weekend, and thanks for being a part of Infield Parking. Im noticing more and more members every time I log in, and thats great! Continue to spread the word so we can make this the coolest online community on the web!
Any news from practice?
Q or Survivor? What to do!
