Do you mean, crappy?
Ah yes, the eager West Pointer, no? That was a quality performance.
Giovanni Ribisi was in “Saving Private Ryan”
You said — “No wonder our education system is turning out wackos.”
Well, if the other students there heard that comment of yours, I’m sure they would object to being put in the same category as Cho and the implication that all those other students (who are attending Virginia Tech) could just as easily have been a “shooter” as Cho was (because of the “education system turning out wackos”).
I’m afraid that this simply is not supportable. There are evil people and he was one of them. He bears that responsibility himself.

Oh, shoot, I said Band Of Brothers, and I meant Saving Private Ryan. Sorry. Band of Brothers is so much better, that I was confused.
oh my Lord........
I guess that will work too. I was think more along the lines of KNAPPY. Not sure if its a word or what it means.
Oh... and one more thing to that... the “other side” will use the same type of reasoning here and say —
“See, it’s the guns and that’s why we have these kinds of shooters, the “gun mentality” in our country and the availability of all those weapons”.
You’ve fallen into the same trap that they have — except being on the other side of the fence. It’s not his fault (it’s the education system’s fault; it’s the gun lobby’s fault)...

Giovanni was an embarassment, nothing but unrestrained libtard mouthings...certainly an example of a complete moonbat. What an indication of the total catastrophe that education at all levels has become.
Yes & more. It was awful...
I have been following Nikki’s career for almost forty years and she is way more the stubborn contrarian than the ideological Leftist.
If you read her early poems like Nigger,Can You Kill?you can see she was most defintely a product of the Sixties black power movement, even producing a son fathered by H Rap Brown.
Yet she was awfully hard on black people too.She even refused to support the anti-Apartheid movement of the mid-Eighties and admitted on national TV that she had bought some Krugerands!
Her Poem for Aretha and Ego Tripping are fantastic with their imagery. Her autobiography,Gemini,is also good as a look into her childhood and college years.
You said — “Wow, these kids were so afraid of him, they refused to come to class?”
Yeah! And people say that this could not have been *predicted*.
Did you know that his fellow students were *actually discussing* (for real) if he could be a future “school shooter”. Think about that!! The students were actually discussing that very thing. And he turns out to be one!
Not able to be predicted?? No way...

Bummer.
Actually, a professor is master of the classroom. Any prof can have any student dismissed from their class for disrupting. Not dismissed from the university, but dismissed from the class.
LOL!
Who the hell is Nikki Giovanni? Why was she allowed to give a speech? And above all why should anyone give a rat’s rectum what she says thinks or does?
You said — “She cannot denounce the evil bastard...”
But, she did denounce him — very strongly. She denounced him in ways that I’ve *never heard* on a mainstream media show before —ever... You just don’t hear that type of comment about a student that one has taugh — no, you just don’t.
So, she definitely denounced him in no uncertain terms...

Uh, that's why the title of this thread is Nikki Giovanni changes her tune.
You said — He was in one of her classes....until she demand he be removed....
It seems that more people *should have* listened to her way back then. If they had listened to her, then maybe the officials could have saved all those lives lost the other day...
