HILLARY CLINTON'S STATEMENT ON SUPREME COURT DECISION

HILLARY CLINTON ON SCOTUS DECISION:

4/18/2007

From the Senate: Statement on Supreme Court's Gonzales v. Carhart Decision Washington, DC -- "This decision marks a dramatic departure from four decades of Supreme Court rulings that upheld a woman's right to choose and recognized the importance of women's health. Today's decision blatantly defies the Court's recent decision in 2000 striking down a state partial-birth abortion law because of its failure to provide an exception for the health of the mother. As the Supreme Court recognized in Roe v. Wade in 1973, this issue is complex and highly personal; the rights and lives of women must be taken into account. It is precisely this erosion of our constitutional rights that I warned against when I opposed the nominations of Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito."

This so-called “woman”, Hillary Clinton, is cold and heartless. “She” should shut up about protecting the “health” of women. What a crock.

“She” makes my skin crawl.

One cool thing about the Supreme Court decision is that Every politician running will be questioned and will have trouble ducking giving an opinion on the issue.

True, and for the Dems to shore up their lib bases, they'll have to be very vocal about it.

Strange that a woman who has had so little opportunity to potentially become pregnant would be so passionate about ending pregnancies. One would think she was married to a man who actually wanted to have sex with her frequently.

“I want Hillary and Nancy and Barbara etc. to give the American people one instance of a Woman losing her life due to allowing 97% percent of the baby being born and then killing it!”

And Rudy...

We have won the battle but lost the war.

In a a very tight race, this SCOTUS decision has just given Hilary the single issue she needs to put her over the top.

Unintended consequences !

BUMP

” In a a very tight race, this SCOTUS decision has just given Hilary the single issue she needs to put her over the top.”

How is this going to put her over the top? The vast majority in this country oppose partial birth abortion...

Please excuse the ignorance, but how is abortion a constitutional right?(serious question, I don't understand the mind set)

If a thug shoots a pregnant woman in the belly and both she and the fetus die, it's double homicide. If the woman aborts the baby, it's a right?

I honestly cannot wrap my head around all these supposed "rights" I keep hearing about from politicians.

Hillary, you feeble minded twit.
That in the H3LL do you mean “erosion of our constitutional rights”? The Constitution of the United States contains absolutely nothing about the “right to abort”. Are you perhaps thinking about the constitution of a different country? Some commie country perhaps?

In Hillary’s warped liberal mind, she has a guaranteed constitutional “Right to Commit Murder”. None of the rest of us have this right, but it sure explains the dead bodies that seem to follow in the wake of the Clintons.

So when the baby’s head has just emerged from the mother, if you smash the head with a sledge hammer, it will save the mothers life.

I just do not understand democrats.

method of aborting a baby was not ever required to save the life of a pregnant woman.

It is more dangerous to the mother to have an abortion this way since they have to manually turn the child in order for it to be presented breach.......Isn't that right?

"Hillary is the one case where I would have supported abortion. What were her parents thinking?"

I have been informed that her mother DID abort her. My apologies.

Abortion is the biggest problem in America today. If the average person can not recognize the evil of brutally killing children, then how can any other reasonable standards of civility be expected? We need a complete revival of what the Christian leader, William Wilberforce, called social manners. In our country today this is called the culture wars.
