I’ve switched to organic dog food now for my dog. Guess I’ll just keep her on it permanently.

A list would be great! Please, include me on it!

Thank you for your condolences.

Yes I went to pet connection and reported it.
Reported it to the FDA also and to menufoods.

Don’t have any food, but I do have all my receipts from the food he was on.

This gal is doing a lot for lost and sick pets, she has his picture on the memorial page.

If you click on my name you can see my baby. Brad’s Gramma helped me set up the page.

I still look for him, he was my sweetiepiezer. My heart has not been so broken in such a long time.

You are amazing! I’m going to print off this one post to use as a guideline to making my own pet foods at home. (Hubby also became a believer after reading our thread from last night and announced we will be making our OWN foods from now on!)

Add me to the ping list, ok?

Oh, now you have me crying, too... how adorable. There is no greater love than we get from our pets and no greater heartbreak than to lose them, made even worse when they are poisoned by what we are feeding them... all those pets on that link is heartbreaking.

I feed my dogs Innova EVO’s Red Meat forumula and they do well on it. I feed my cats Innova dry food with an occasional Filadae canned and they do ok on it.

I would prefer to feed raw exclusively since they do so much better on it, but it’s expensive and we just can’t afford it all the time now.

Find out how politicians voted on Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China:

Here’s how my favorite candidate voted:

“Duncan Hunter on Foreign Policy

Voted NO on Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China. (May 2000)”

Other things that is good for them: Sardines in olive oil -- like a sardine a day -- for natural Omega 3 fatty acids..

Jack Mackeral -- but put into a colander and wash the excess salt off and make certain it is "jack" mackeral as jack is lower in mercury. Tuna is too high in mercury to give in any quantity... Canned Salmon is fine.... can make a whole meal on a canned fish and some canned pumpkin with some yogurt or cottage cheese in a pinch... sit-stay and onlynaturalpets both sell a canned green tripe.. tripe is good -- though I think the canned smells stronger than the real stuff I get from Hare-today or Greentripe.com, grass-fed green tripe doesn't stink.... dogs go bonkers for green tripe.... when I'm feeding that I seldom bother with a lot of the other vegies for my dogs.

How about raw for dinner and Evo for breakfast?

I'm sure I'll think of more things...

Oh..here is an easy one. go to the market and buy some beef ribs.. Cut the excess fat off the ribs and then give your dog(s) a rib with meat for a meal.... the meat shreds and gets between their teeth to clean their teeth and massage their gums.. these are good to let them have and work on trying to get the marrow out -- when it starts getting a sharp edge we throw them away... We make them lay down on an old towel or washable rug to chew on their rib bones... it's a real hit here.

I don’t like to feed them kibble and raw on the same day due to the difference in digestion times for raw and kibble. Lately they’ve been getting raw a couple/few days out of the week. I’ll be so glad when they are completely back on raw though.

IMO the Chinese have seriously underestimated the American Public's love for their pets... if this is proven to be true ----

Nothing will happen, also IMO. International trade philosophy is amoral. $$$ trumps right or wrong, good or evil.

I know what you are saying, I just thought since EVO is grain-free might not be so much conflict for their digestion.

RAW ribs? Bones?? I cannot tell you how hubby and I have argued over giving the dogs bones - any kind of (cooked) bones and now you’re saying rib bones? Explain please. One of our dogs has the jaws of a Pit Bull and she could rip a bone in half in seconds.

Bones make me nervous and feeding bones goes against all I’ve ever learned.

I also heard the gluten was shipped in recycled bags of 1 ton each. That may have been the rice gluten used by another pet food mfg. I believe it said a couple of the bags said Melamine.
