Tom Barnett has been described by U.S. News & World Report's Michael Barone as "one of the most important strategic thinkers of our time...." He'll still gets just 1 vote, right?

Thats exactly my concern. I absolutely agree that Giuliani is persuasive and will get things done. His record shows that the things he wants to get done are in many cases the opposite of what I want, and the way he gets things done is to refuse to be constrained by Constitutional limits on govenment. And in the WOT he has tended to take more of a crimefighting (surveillance, gun control, etc.) than a warfighting approach. If he were incompetent or a poor communicator, he would be much less dangerous to our Founding documents and our fundamental liberties. Precisely. I am against Rudy not out of hate but out of concern for the future of my Country. Rudy's "New York City" view of America is radically different from my "constitutional" view of America.

” fluff piece”
I remember many moons ago a bright `geo-strategist’, Zbignew Brezinski (try saying that three times . . ) signing on with another national, political new-comer:
James Earl Carter.
Wondering how much of this is support for the candidate and how much is just a signal of willingness to serve in a(any) new administration.
Or fluff.

Shes more of a LADY than you are a CHRISTIAN! Who ever told you Christians don't fight? You must think we are going to sit back and let a liberal pretender walk all over us because we are too nice.
Think again, if that is possible for you.

One very well informed, INTELLIGENT vote. Yes. Only Dems get to vote more than once.

He has humiliated his ex wife and children. As you see this phrase was not posted by me. I answered him because of what he said and mentioned. I mentioned the wife by name. He mentioned the wife first. Who else is his ex-wife??? Ethel?

Who else is his ex-wife??? Ethel? Is that his cousin ex-wife's name? No, I guess that was Regina Peruggi.

Having recently sat down with the man, let me tell you why I consider Giuliani a candidate wholly appropriate for our times. For one, we are very into mass murder of innocent victims these days. Rudy also is into mass murder of innocent victims. Thus, Rudy is the man of the hour!

I have a great impression of Rudy Guiliani. I honestly like the man, and respect his personal courage when that dark day occured.
But I won’t vote for a man that thinks the Second Amendment is ‘negotiable’. I won’t vote for a man that I don’t trust to appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court - and yes, I know what he’s claiming he’ll do.
And I simply cannot understand how anyone educated could have ever supported partial birth abortion, and nope I’m not a fanatic on that subject, I just know the face of genocide.
He’s a great American, but he’s not the guy we need to lead this country in 2008. A good addition to a GOP administration in a Cabinet position.
