If you like horses, you will love this Youtube clip, you'll even forget it's a horse! Even if you don't, this is amazing stuff.
Pinging you for anyone in the saddle club gang who may not have seen this delightful show with splendid commentary.
Impressive.
That was BEAUTIFUL! Such a talented mount and rider!
Wow. I know nothing about horses but I know they don’t do that =P
I bookmarked it. What a performance!
Animal amazing.
Wow. Just wow.
That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. How the heck do you teach a horse to dance?
Thank you very much for posting this! I’ll show the kids in the a.m.
I’ve never seen anything like that before.
All I can possibly say is...
Incredible!
Can’t find it without a link.
What a beautiful, graceful horse. Thanks for posting - I’ve forwarded the link already!

WOW...that was GREAT....sending it off to friends who are horse lovers! Thanks.
I just went and watched her again:’)
The mare was ammaaazing! It really lightened up the day for me. Yes, it was a joy to watch the performance.
On another subject, I stumbled onto your bio and read of your admiration for the Blue Angels. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of the Blue Angel today. I live near Luke AFB, original home of the Blue Angels. Sad days are ahead for our community. We recently lost another LAFB pilot, Troy Gilbert, who whose life was lost serving in Iraq.
It has just been a tough week - we will have to do double duty prayers for those in Iraq, Virginia, Arizona, North Carolina and wherever else they may be needed.
That was sooo cool!
What a beautiful animal. Poetry in motion. Thanks for posting this. It’s a welcome break from the very serious topics of the last several days
It looks tight because the horse has been taught to keep her head tucked.
The “tight rein” is actually an intricate “telegraph system” in which the rider’s commands are *imperceptibly* and very quickly transmitted through the tiniest of pulls, releases, pressure on one rein or the other, combined with also equally imperceptible pressure of the rider’s legs, knees and subtle shifts in his body weight distribution upon her back.
The whole point of dressage is for the rider to *appear* to be just sitting up there, “doing nothing” while the horse performs an amazing equine ballet.
Those two are *so* good at it that he appears to be just along for the ride while she’s out ballroom dancing...:)
[quite a spectacular performance and a testament to the flawless communication between that horse and rider]
Thanks so much for posting the link. It was absolutely wonderful to watch this horse. Amazing!
Utterly amazing and beautiful! Thanks for letting us know about it.
That was incredible. I never saw anything like it. Thanks, FRiend.
