Sheryl Crow's Backstage List & Carbon Footprint (Hypocrisy From Toilet Paper Diva!!!)
The Smoking Gun ^ | April 23, 2007

When it comes to Sheryl Crow's touring requirements, if it's Tuesday, this must be Bombay. Gin that is. The rock star's performance contract includes specific day-to-day instructions on what kind of booze Sheryl needs in her dressing room (TSG has never seen such attention to detail in any other concert rider we've posted). For each show, Crow requires 12 bottles of Grolsch beer, 6 bottles of "local" beer, and a bottle each of "good Australian Cabernet" and "good Merlot." As for the harder stuff, promoters are directed to purchase specific booze depending on what day of the week the concert falls, as the below rider excerpt reveals. Additionally, when the global warming warrior hits the road, her touring entourage (and equipment) travels in three tractor trailers, four buses, and six cars. Now that's a carbon footprint!

Sheryl Crow was wearing enough gold that night to balance out hundreds of years of toilet paper "carbon" print-points.

Does Sheryl believe smoke and energy used to create gold doesn't count? She can't see the gold mines and smelters so they're not there?

What a hypocrite -- or fool. Or both.

Crow goes beyond limousine liberal category.

She’s a gulfstream jet liberal. Truely the most hypocritical of all liberals.

She doesn’t care. She probably uses a “bidet.”

That’s why these bands/singers make these nit-picky requests. They want to make sure that the venue/promoters actually read the contract. They just have to one-up each other as well.

Sheryl has been one of the biggest hypocrites when it comes to the environment. A few years ago when the Iraq war started, and she went off about no blood for oil, many of her fans challenged her about her SUVs. She (allegedly) sold her SUV as a result. She’s also an avid motocross rider, thus tearing up natural landscape and further polluting the air.

It’s the Sheryl Crow diet.

Monday Bourbon
Tuesday Gin
Wednesday Brandy
Thursday Champagne
Friday Tequila
Saturday Vodka
Sunday Tequila

Then repeat, lol. It’s takes a lot of alcohol to keep the liberal ideas working for ya.

The definition of hypocrisy is to espouse beliefs that you do not actually hold.

I have no doubt that all of these “liberals” that we’re accusing of being hypocrites, in fact, are not -

they truly DO believe that YOU “little people”, the non-elites, should live the lifestyle that they would dictate to you, but that they, as the elites, are exempt.

That might be sexist. There's a fine line between clever and stupid.

What's wrong with being sexy?

A very specific breakdown of food and booze requirements for eight people (my favorite being Sunday “Something Good” night), and only ONE bar of soap!!! Soap doesn’t seem like something people should share.

Saw Van Halen in Augusta GA on their '1984' tour. When they started to play 'Jump', a cord to the synthesizer came loose, and Eddie told Alex and Mike to vamp while he climbed down through those risers and reconnected the cord.

I've had a couple of gigs where we, the local pickups, were offered the 'pleasure of the table'. Sometimes there's some unusual stuff. 8~)
