We had a bunch of these opuses back when a bunch of liberal Republicans left during the Schiavo situation, claiming FR was taken over by “Jesus freaks.”
Not surprisingly, the recent departures were made up of a good percentage of the ones who didn’t opus out back then. A lot of the ones who left over Julie were the same vultures that circled over any culture of death story, just waiting to see one so they could flap down and proclaim death a preferable state over life.
At least this time they took their little WPPFF sewing circle elsewhere.
Yeah, whatever. You can support Rudy all you want, but don’t try to pretend he’s conservative. He was great on law and order issues in New York City, but he still holds very liberal views on abortion and homosexuality.
Keep dreaming because that’s the only place you’ll find Rudy running the country. He could always move to England and become queen, though.
I’m just telling you how it is. You don’t have to like it.

Admit it. You did not expect a conservative website to support a liberal like Giuliani. Come on. Admit it.

I don’t see how Hillarys’ administration and Rudys’ administration would be different.

Why dont you just say “I’m a whiny liberal”, and it bothers me that this site doesn’t support me liberal candidate? I would have much more respect for you if you were just honest about it.
I agree.. they have finally all come out of the closet. Not that I mind having liberal Republicans around... it's just that their attitued of teargin down Reagan and the Founding Fathers to make their man look better... as well as their assumption that anyone whoe doesn't agree with them is an idiot.
Interesting post. I don’t get too caught up in the Rudy battle here, but I do think Robinson is a bit over-the-top on the issue. The ridiculous push polls and hyperbolic headlines are a bit much. (Though I do give Robinson credit for altering one of the headlines I considered misleading.) I do think FR has strayed a bit and hope it doesn’t wind up in Daily Kos land.
And as Opi (or is it opus’s ?) go, that’s a 4.
