Tragic -

Although the border crossings would drop 20 years from now - probably.

I’d be shocked Planned Parenthood isn’t exporting murder to other countries again. I know they were in China.
Our tax mullah at work.

Not surprising. Mexico has undergone the same forces of secularization as the United States and Canada.

Also, its no secret that the average birthrate per woman in Mexico has plummeted from over six in the 1960s, to 2.2 as of two years ago.

As I've said several times on this site: in 25-30 years (and that's being conservative), there will be little surplus population for Mexico to export. Our new Mojados will likely come from Botswana, or, more likely, be replaced by machines.

I hadn’t heard that this was being considered. Maybe other freepers were following it.

The Catholic Church really ought to excommunicate the catholic politicians who voted for this.

> Suprise?

Nope. They’d already elected a socialist mayor. May as well promote abortions as well.

I remember reading about it some days ago. It was not made into headline news, but was reported matter-of-factly, IIRC. Just as it should have been reported.

Not surprised at all. Planned Parenthood, "Catholics for a Free Choice"(a non-Catholic organization funded almost entirely by the Ford Foundation), and a number of Packard and Rockefeller Foundation organizations have made Latin America - and particularly Mexico - their number one target for years. The only surprising thing is that it took this long.

The current Mexican president is actually very good, and they have some good bishops there. The thing that we all forget is that Mexico is still technically a socialist, anti-Catholic country; legal restrictions on the clergy (including such things as appearing in public in clerical dress) were only removed a few years ago.

One thing I've always wondered, btw, is why billionaires always put their billions into population control. They could do some real good with all that money they are spending to promote abortions and wipe out the next generation of producers and consumers. But maybe that's a topic for another thread....

Yes. With all the evil that is happening all over the world. One has to conclude that at some point God will intervene to save His Church. The devil is surely on the loose here.

To understand this, one needs to be a billionaire. As soon as you become one, the explanation ought to dawn instantaneously.

I seem to recall that the Spanish did away with child sacrifices there in Mexico. I guess that same demon is back.

Yes, it is; worse still, unfortunately, one of the things that Mexicans think is that in adopting these things, they’ll be more “modern” and more like the US. While it may be true that they’ll be more like us, this isn’t the part they should emulate. But unfortunately, the message we or the left in the media give to the world is that abortion is virtually a sacrament in the US.

I’m tired of the mess.
God will handle it.

indeed. there's an old saying, I think of Augustine, that "the gods of the pagans are demons". Perhaps the old "gods" of Mexico are feeling a little left out since the 1500s, and it stands to reason that they would bring their same blood fetish back.
