Al Qaeda is in the United States, former CIA Director George Tenet says, and he’s surprised there have not been more attacks on American soil.

“I do know one thing in my gut,” Tenet writes in his upcoming book. “Al Qaeda is here and waiting.”

Tenet, who served as CIA chief from 1997 to 2004, questioned how Al Qaeda hasn’t sent “suicide bombers to cause chaos in a half-dozen American shopping malls on any given day.”

Tenet's 549-page book, "At the Center of the Storm," published by HarperCollins, is set to hit the bookstores on Monday. ...more

We know they’re here: they won several House and Senate seats.

Just because you know they're here doesn't mean you know who they are or where they are.

There could have been sleeper cells set up long before 9-11.

I would have done it that way.

They are hear as illigal’s and we need them to do the work Americans won’t do, blow things up, kill little children, burn buildings down.

Oh wait we do have Americans to do this, the ACLU and their pedophile supporters, Rioters in East LA.

Okay that the one blow things up.

Besides this is the tell in his statment; “I do know one thing in my gut,”

He FEELS it in his gut, well show me the proof, if they were here they would be blowing things up, it is what they do.

I’m sure you’re shocked but that begs the question. Why hasn’t anyone asked him why they were and continued to be allowed to stay? Are they just waiting for another attack? Do these people enjoy some kind of special protection?

I thought the Left has been deriding the “puppy dog” scenario where the terrorists will “follow us home” if we flee from Iraq.

All of Homeland Security efforts seem to be devoted to our airports. And even that's ridiculous because most of the people pulled out of line to wanded and searched are white middle-to-elderly-aged people and the least likely of suspects. Meanwhile our long southern and northern borders are nonexistent for all practical purposes, but who cares? It's easier to harass harmless whites at U.S. airports than to actually enforce our national sovereignty.

This man presided over the largest, most deadly intelligence failure in US History on 9/11. He then went on to screw up the intelligence on Iraq. Now, to escape blame for historic incompetency, he does what all Democrats do, blame Republicans in a book. All the while knowing the dishonest, disgraceful media in this country will help him in his mission. What a total POS this guy is.

Yes. Unlike drunks in public (PI) and drunk drivers (DWI), we have to wait until terrorists actually hurt someone to go after them. It could all be elaborate fantasy otherwise.

Thank you ACLU.

Who’s we? Based on the VTech shooting, people are still uncomfortable with American citizens returning fire upon domestic terrorists in action.
