No complaints while she sat on their board. They deserve each other.

Wal-Mart is doing more for health care than Hilda.

$4 prescriptions and clinics in many of their stores.

Hellary, STFU! I wish to hell when I was a kid growing up in the `70`s there had been a Walmart. I remember practically begging to work at McDonalds, Nathans, but jobs were just ridiculously scarce for students or anybody for that matter. All I could get was this lousy paper route that paid me $20 a week if you can believe it. Freggin` liberals, anything related to capitalism that helps people make ends meet, they gotta criticize. Why? Because it`s related to capitalism and not socialism. The big evil coporations, how dare they provide jobs!

I've never even thought about that- what you just wrote is golden in the fight against nationalizing health care and supporting capitalism in general

Small businesses that ally with Stalinists like Hillary to fight competition from Wal-Mart will have a nasty surprise when she turns on them after she doesn’t need them anymore.

I can’t dispute that Wal Mart is a double edged sword. My very small town got a wal mart and it’s downtown died. They built just outside the city limits so there is no tax incentive for my town either. It is good for poor people, no doubt about that. But I don’t want to eat food made from Chinese ingrediants or imported from China, and I don’t want to wear clothes imported from China either.

Also, I read the entire article, no one is “ firing back” he just stated that things have been changing at wal mart for the better, and I believe that to be true too.....

They call that “shooting back”? It sounded more like whimpering and grovelling to me.

We have a large chain- Meijer - in this area- they provide FREE antibiodics, not just 4$ scrips.

No, “Wal-Mart man” is not crazy. Not only does WM provide health care for it’s employees, it provides low-cost prescription drugs for those who shop there. And, because of their offering these low-cost drugs to the general public WM is putting competitive pressure on other retailers to do the same. So, prices are coming down. Additionally, if you are concerned about the demise of those small mom and pop stores, keep in mind that WM is offering vastly nore jobs than these stores ever could, plus benefits which the mom and pop stores never offered. So, get past your romantic Norman Rockwell vision of an America that never was.

Yes, they are prescription. You don’t have to buy anything else or do anything at all. It is free if you have insurance or if you don’t-they don’t even ask you. I just used it for my bronchitis prescription.(even though I have a 5 $ co pay for my insurance) My Doctor said that it has been a godsend to them this winter- a lot of people around here got very sick and don’t have enough money to go to the doctor AND get medicine.

It’ hard to believe that Wal-Mart killed off Sam and Hellen’s WALTON’S store In Bentonville on the square where I used to shop 48 years ago.

Oh wait! Wal-Mart IS Sam and Hellen’s Mom and Pop store!
