DEMS "coincidence" of waiting to send Emergency bill up. (coincidence, I think not)

Mrs Perino "And I also think that given that they say that they want to provide funding for the troops, it is curious why they didn't appoint conferees for two weeks, and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with this particular timing. I know that their on-the-record quotes are saying that it's just a coincidence, but certainly, the background chatter that they're providing to you anonymously would lead you to — would only lead me to conclude that they are using the troops for their own political PR stunts."

Why isn't anyone making a big deal out of the fact that the Democrats are physically sitting on the War funding bill until the anniversary next week of the Mission Accomplished sign? Yes, we know it's politics as usual, but come on, if they cared about the troops so much they would have sent that bill up on Thursday. Wasn't it Obama who said "We are one signature away from ending this war". If he is in such a hurry for that signature, then why didn't he urge Reid to send the bill up? We have to get this story going before the so called "coincidence" of the bill going up the same day as the anniversary. Hillary just started the whole Mission Accomplished speech was a lie thing today, here's the link.

Let's get this story out there to once again prove how much they don't support the troops.

Dingy Harry and Queen Nancy think this is such a clever stunt to embarrass the President. If I were him, I’d wait until the weekend to veto their surrender bill, at the same time announcing cuts in federal spending in every district whose representatives voted for the bill, the “savings” going to the troops, of course. I’m sure the Dems wouldn’t mind, being such strong supporters of the troops, doncha know.

That would be great, but we know it will not happen. I don’t know why this one thing bothers me so much, but this is really frustrating me. My husband and I are both veterans of this war and he is going back in September. This stunt is the lowest, well besides the whole war is lost thing.

Why isn't anyone making a big deal out of the fact that..........

Because the demonRATS have pushed one crazy, insane, dangerous issue after another. People are so tired, and sick of it, no one is reacting anymore. It is wrong, but I don't know what to do anymore.

It might be wise for all of us to read the President's speech and be prepared to fire back when the idiots start their chatter.

We're helping to rebuild Iraq, where the dictator built palaces for himself, instead of hospitals and schools. And we will stand with the new leaders of Iraq as they establish a government of, by, and for the Iraqi people. (Applause.)

The transition from dictatorship to democracy will take time, but it is worth every effort. Our coalition will stay until our work is done. Then we will leave, and we will leave behind a free Iraq. (Applause.)

The battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11, 2001 -- and still goes on. That terrible morning, 19 evil men -- the shock troops of a hateful ideology -- gave America and the civilized world a glimpse of their ambitions. They imagined, in the words of one terrorist, that September the 11th would be the "beginning of the end of America." By seeking to turn our cities into killing fields, terrorists and their allies believed that they could destroy this nation's resolve, and force our retreat from the world. They have failed. (Applause.)
