KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Muslim-majority Malaysia's first astronaut will get guidelines allowing flexibility in praying in zero gravity and eating space meals under Islamic rules, the country space chief said Monday.

Malaysia held a forum for Islamic scholars in April 2006 to discuss problems Muslim space travelers might face, such as pinpointing the Saudi holy city of Mecca, which Muslims are expected face when they pray five times a day.
The guideline booklet, published this month, says the direction should be determined "according to the capability" of the astronaut.

What did Charlie Brown used to say? Oh good grief....
yikes! it’s not often on FR my tagline is even vaguely relevant.
LOL....it may apply sooner than later.
A rule for everything; and everything by the rules.
“A rule for everything; and everything by the rules.”
That is how they control them and keep them like murderous little sheep. Funny thing is, there are so many different opinions what muslim can and cannot do that it’s hard to tell. I mean, I heard that the woman can CHOOSE to wear a veil and yet you have “police” who go around and beat them if they don’t....some choice.

Simple, just put their heads back up their rear ends and they will pointing in the right direction.

As if 7th Century technology allows for space travel. I think the mythbusters tackled this one and busted it.
Just a guess but from space Mecca would be in the general direction of down to my way of thinking. Thank Allah for weightlessness in this situation. And as for fasting, it’s good to learn that chow offsets are permitted.
Well they have a space chief for something. Still, as the old commercial said,
"I've tried everything...but I prefer a Camel."
For certain reasons that should be obvious to many of you, I won't be blogging about this very sensitive subject - but it will be breaking soon ~
One of Malaysia's astronauts has a secret ~ a secret that at the moment is still in the closet.
That is all.
He eats pork?.............
he does drink though and....
He drinks wine?.....beer?......liquor?.......lizard piss?........what?.....
