The New York Times is always ready and willing to serve as lead public relations staffers for the open-borders movement. On May Day, the day of mass illegal alien protests across the country, the paper saw fit to print a front-page sob story decrying rising illegal alien deportations.
"Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials, facing intense political pressure to toughen enforcement [read: do their jobs], removed 221,664 illegal immigrants from the country over the last year," the Times reported ominously. That's "an increase of more than 37,000 -- about 20 percent -- over the year before, according to the agency's tally."
221,664. Big number. It certainly sounds like we're getting serious about immigration enforcement, if you believe what the Times tells you.
But you know better than that. It's what the paper didn't tell you on the day of the pro-amnesty demonstrations that provides the truly alarming news. Far from a nation that takes its immigration laws seriously, we remain in a shoddy, dangerous state of immigration non-enforcement nearly six years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks -- chaos that will only worsen if Congress and the White House join hands on a "comprehensive" illegal alien amnesty plan.

Here's a thought deport the entire family back to mexico, problems solved!
On local news last night, in Plano Texas there is a "day worker" center, (taxpayers money at work in Plano TX) and the person in charge of assigning people to work the jobs just happens to be hispanic and guess who gets all the jobs? So the city manager said he will investigate, right, wink and a nod?
Read the socialist hispanic organizers (who march and demonstrate on socialist day) websites and how they hate the current administration and all Americans! Scary! Gotta love the mexican flag waving...NOT.Shows who they are loyal to, since that is the case they need to take their M flag and go home and support THEIR country.
Per the 2006 US House Homeland Security Committee report, up to 10 million illegal and un-inspected entered in year 2005.
At the rate of returning 221,664 per year, it will take 45 years to remove those who entered in 2005.
Then in year 2052 they can start removing those who entered in 2006.
Che t-shirts, Mexican US war of 1846 hero t-shirts, Islamic fliers and other groups of people who have a chip on their shoulder. The Worker news print was there. Basically all of the groups who will befriend any group that has a grievance with the United States.
It’s funny, communist propaganda being disseminated and fully protected under freedom of speech. Using freedom to take it away. These idiots have no clue what communism is nor have they lived in a real communist state.
This is the beginning of MOB rule. Look at France.
The very big mistake they are making is forgetting that people my age realize what they did to our country during the Vietnam War, and that there is no way in hell that we will allow it again.
GATHERING OF EAGLES MAY 26TH-27TH SEE YOU THERE!
I recommend people go to these rallies and see for themselves.
You made some good points!
Yup! And, here's another thing the policy makers need to revise........Stop making children of Illegal immigrants, born in the US, automatic citizens. If parents are illegal, then so are they. That's why they do this crap, thinking they won't get sent back cause America will not separate families.
NEARLY two decades ago, Abel Muñoz, 41, and Zulma Miranda, 37, crossed the border with temporary permits to seek treatment for their infant son. He had been diagnosed with leukemia and died soon after their arrival. By then, Miranda was pregnant again and the couple decided to stay in the United States. Leslie was born in 1990, followed by Marcos three years later and Adilene in 1998.
The judge asked Muñoz if he had considered the possibility of being deported when he decided to have children.
"Well, yes," Muñoz responded.
"And so you knew at some point you might face the possibility of your children having to be uprooted?" the judge asked.
"Yes," Muñoz said.
Malkin gets it.
Protect and support our American workers!
No Amnesty ~ No Now ~ Not Ever!
Our local stations we airing all the sob stories about illegal’s American-born children having to do without the deported parents.
Now who’s fault is this? People like the two mention in your story.
But, another example of how it’s our fault cause we have no sympathy for their plight.
If Amnesty is granted, it will be chamber 12-gauge, pump, BANG. The arms industry will make a killing on this one.
