WASHINGTON -- D.C. police officers helped U.S. park police execute a search warrant in Northwest Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
News4's Jackie Bensen reported that possibly as many as 20 guns as well as ammunition, swords, bows, arrows and machetes were seized from a unit of an apartment building in the 5300 block of Eighth Street. Authorities also recovered a replica grenade and what appeared to be a grenade launcher, which does not work.
Authorities also recovered literature that may have been anarchist in nature.
Park police told News4 that the raid was part of an open investigation that stemmed from an arrest at an immigration reform rally in Meridian Hill Park on Tuesday.
That arrest involved a case of assault. Bensen reported that the suspect tried to interfere with the rally and was found to be carrying a weapon on his person and another in his vehicle.

But I have a variety of guns, one sword, 3 bows with arrows, probably a machete, an assortment of hunting knives at my house...wonder what the press would say if I were busted that way...
(wonder what they would say about the 5 or six antique bayonets? and the black powder I have for my flintlocks and percussion black powder guns...)
Well, the words militia and compound come to mind.
But since these are illegals, they probably will be treated as freedom fighters in the media.

Fox 5 news said that he got busted at an illegal alien rally after trying to post anti-immigration flyers in the rally area. He was carrying a “weapon” at that time (don’t know what). I find it odd that he’s refered to as an “anarchist” instead of a “right wing nut” by the DC media. Maybe he’s a looney leftie.
I will bet if these guys were Democrats, they would have been praised for their efforts of self-defense against the Fascist cops and Republicans!!!!!
