Re: The article.
Duh. Ya think? Barbara Boxer is more than a socialist. I’m sure she carries a manifesto where ever she goes.

“We Must replace balance of power politics with world order politics” Jimmy Carter

[The Major Goal of the Clinton Administration is] “the remaking of the American way of politics, government, indeed, life....Let us be willing to remold society by redefining what it means to be a human being in the late 20th century, moving into the new millennium”

Quigley’s book can hold up a coffee table or car with a wheel missing. Had to read it in college, years ago. Did you know that Professor Quigley is a friend and has a big fan in William Jefferson “Bubba” “Willie Boy” Clinton?

"I’m afraid it’s too late."

Not as long as hearts beat with idealistic fervor

Not as long as grown men tremble at the sound of the national anthem

Not as long as young warriors say, "Here am I"

Not as long as we teach our children the Superman motto, "Truth, Justice and the American way

Not as long as we can look on our little boys and girls and dream great dreams for them and truly expect them to be fulfilled

Not as long as we remember and enact "From my cold, dead hands"

naw...you mean this Billy Bubba Clinton....?? :) What a tangled web we are in.........

U.S. President Bill Clinton, who named Quigley as an important influence during his acceptance speech at the 1992 Democratic National Convention, saying,

“As a teenager I heard John Kennedy’s summons to citizenship. And then, as a student at Georgetown, I heard that call clarified by a professor I had named Carroll Quigley, who said America was the greatest country in the history of the world because our people have always believed in two great ideas: first, that tomorrow can
be better than today, and second, that each of us has a personal, moral responsibility to make it so.”—Bill Clinton, “A New Covenant” (Clinton and Gore, 1992: 231)

That’s the guy.

Of Special Interest: Carroll Quigley and Bill Clinton
[http://www.draftymanor.com/bart/h_quigle.htm]

While doing research on the Web for this essay, I found a remarkable article by David Wilkinson of UCLA. We know the facts: Bill Clinton was a student of Carroll Quigley, considered him one of his two most influential professors at Georgetown, praised Quigley in his first nomination speech, and read The Evolution of Civilizations again in 1994 (if a review of that book on Amazon.com by a Clinton associate is to be believed).

Given these facts, Wilkinson asks the obvious question: How much of what Quigley taught was put into practice by his student, Bill Clinton, when that student became President of the United States?

Wilkinson’s article addresses that question up to 1995. It is a somewhat long but absolutely fascinating bit of writing, with insights into not only Clinton but Quigley as well. My “bias” antennae were fully extended, but I found Wilkinson’s discussion to be fair, objective, grounded in facts, and even funny in places.

It should be added that this article is written at a fairly high level of erudition. But if you’re willing to accept the occasional Buckleyisms (such as “praxis” and “oikumene”), you’ll be rewarded. There is some really first-class thinking and communication here, and I encourage anyone interested in seeing historical analysis put into action (or not, as their political beliefs may incline them) to take the time to read this piece.

You can read Wilkinson’s article here [http://jwsr.ucr.edu/archive/vol1/v1_n1.php]. The full title is: “From Mesopotamia through Carroll Quigley to Bill Clinton: World Historical Systems, the Civilizationist, and the President”.

“Hitler Said It Best”

“When an opponent declares,
‘I will not come over to your side.’
I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already…
What are you? You will pass on.
Your descendants, however,
now stand in the new camp.
In a short time they will know nothing
else but this new community.’”

~ Adolf Hitler

“Each day I am reminded that the collectivist agenda behind public ‘schooling’ is not a myth, and that it has accomplished more of its goals than we would want to believe.”

With so many RINOs willing to grovel for scraps from their totalitarian masters

I think a very important point is being missed. Namely, there is an advantage to EVERY politician in BOTH major political parties to foster a socialist agenda.

Keep in mind that wherever there is a socialist/communist form of government there is also a very privileged elitest class that lives a very, very rich lifestyle completely unchecked from examination.

It has been very damaging to this agenda to have a huge swelling of home ownership and standard of living improvement among the ‘masses’ during the past several decades. Massive immigration is the ‘friend’ of ALL politicians because, if and when a credit implosion occurs, socialism, driven by politicians of BOTH parties will step into the breach. Having the ‘masses’ undereducated and all living in pretty much the same economic condition is a great benefit to ALL politicians because it insures their positions in the elitest class.

:::
This shows, to any sane person, what an HUGE DANGER these socialists are to American life, freedom, and INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY. They are totally against anything but a state-controlled existence, run by them of course...they are power mad, and absolute enemies of the American Constitutional Republic. They MUST be stopped.
