Prayers for ladyinred are on the way.
Dear and precious Lord,
Maker of all things seen and unseen:
I lift up to You a dear friend
whom I have neve met;
Whose face I have never beheld;
Whose laugh I have never heard;
Whose tears I have never caught.
You hold the measure of her life
In the hollow of your hand;
The number of her days is known to You alone,
And we know that you have a plan for her.
We know that whatever may come,
You will be glorified in her life;
You will be glorified in her transformation
from corruptible to incorruptible;
You will be glorified if she is healed now,
Or if her ultimate healing is at hand.
My only desire, Oh wonderful and beautiful God,
Is that whatever may come,
She will see Your immeasurable goodness;
Your unfathomable wisdom;
Your unsurpassed power;
Your overarching glory.
We commit her to You, Oh great and awesome God.
We trust you to guide those who deliver her care.
We trust you to draw her and her loved ones nearer to You.
We trust You to bring this ordeal to an end that will
Bring glory to You and peace to her and her loved ones.
My deepest desire, Oh Lord,
Us simply that Your will be done.
We may not see You Hand,
But we trust Your heart.
