Here is the readers digest version of LadyInReds plight. The cancer was discovered during a trip to the doctor which turned out to be pneumonia, a suspicious lesion was noticed and a CT revealed a bronchial tumor. Not being happy with our local pulmonologists, I made an appointment at Stanford Medical Hosp. A fantastic medical facility. Several tests revealed a Stage IV condition in her left lung. We had a super oncologist (Heather Wakelee, graduated magna cum laude in molecular biology at Princeton) who develop the chemotherapy program. LiR was going to participate in a trial study using a new drug but with the side effects and distance to travel it was decided to transfer the treatment to Fresno where the travel is not such a burden. We could not do the new drug trial since we would not be at Stanford.
So, in summary, we had the diagnosis and chemo program worked up by Stanford Medical Hospital, our local oncologist is in communications with Dr. Wakelee and he is administering her program to Connie. We have high hopes that the chemo will put the cancer in remission. Radiation is not feasible since the stage IV is throughout her left lung, requiring too much radiation. Surgery is not possible because of a bronchial tumor at the point where the bronchial tube divides between the lungs.
GOD IS IN CONTROL - HIS WILL BE DONE!

Dear Chad, what a great attitude you have! It is good to read how proactive you are.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, where an outpouring of divine healing has been going on for several years, with people being healed of such things as staggers the mind. My new motto as a citizen of the Kingdom is, “God can do ANYthing!” This outpouring is not confined to the NW, thankfully!
Three years ago my pastor and his cousin visited a local hospital to ask patients if they could pray for their healing. They happened upon the room of a 22-year-old man who had recently been told he had testicular cancer that had spread to every part of his body except his brain. Lance Armstrong’s doctor evaluated him and, in agreement with every other doctor the young man had seen, told him to get his affairs in order, there was no hope. My pastor and his cousin began to pray with him and his wife, and while they prayed, the cancer was completely driven out of his body. He is in college now, working part time. The doctors told him he needs to return for monthly check ups but after three years, and the way God miraculously healed him in a moment of time, he and his wife finally decided there was no reason to keep going back to make the doctors feel good.
I could go on and on — there have been so many healings of this nature, but I will leave it with this one, and a heartfelt prayer that God will put you and your dear wife in touch with just such a team of people who will pray this type of healing into Connie. God LOVES working with seemingly impossible situations, for His glory is made known and more people are drawn to Him.
Prayers also for wisdom, strength, joy in each other’s love, and every good thing to be lavished upon you both, in Jesus’ Name.

Thank You for salvation, comfort and Your peace that
