Not to nitpick, but the article doesn't say Interstate 59, it says U.S. 59. U.S. 59 does indeed go through Houston, where it's known as the Eastex Expressway.
Eastex Freeway. I have a truck terminal and shop right across the freeway from where this occured. It’s not known as a “really good” part of town.
