“It’s why I voted for the man, and don’t regret it for a second. “

I don’t regret voting for Bush either time.

I do regret the obvious fact he lost focus as soon as he gave his second inaugural address. To me, he ‘coasted’ right up til the aftermath of the 06 mid term, then he seems to have ‘snapped out of it’ somewhat.

Thanks for sharing. I do not regret voting for W twice and still feel he is the best man for the Presidency right now.

I really do not understand the hatred directed at the President - I think he is a good man who has the best interest of this country at heart.

” . . . the United States has lucked out again and found the right man for the job.”

We are indeed lucky that we have the right man in the job; too bad the media and the lefties refuse to acknowledge it.

I liked this part:

So W. is the man. He's made the toughest decisions, and he was far and away the best choice for this very hard time. I admire him, and also see his limits. That's life. We don't get perfection in presidents...

We're just blessed that in a time of real danger, the United States has lucked out again and found the right man for the job.

I think it goes back to the 2000 election. The left made it clear they would never consider his presidency to be legitimate. They have been completely losing their minds ever since.

Just imagine if Gore were in office - he’s really shown what a nut job he is! We dodged a bullet, no a missile, - wonder if we can be so lucky again.

“We don’t get perfection in presidents...”

That should be stenciled on every voters forehead in ‘reverse writting’ the evening before an election.

That way they have to read it in the mirror first thing before voting.

He is nobody but W. This, for a conservative, is a Good Thing.

Conservative?

Who is this guy talking about?

He’s not claiming Bush is a conservatives ‘conservative’.

He’s saying given the options available in 2000, W is good for conservatives.

Imagine if McCainiac had won the primaries.....

Carter said nu-ku-lar (probably still does) and was a nuclear engineer in the Navy. No one had a problem with it during his tenure. Wonder why? /s

“We don’t get perfection in presidents...”

No we don't, but we also shouldn't get a President that will do nothing to defend not only his honor but the honor of his people. I have never in my life (well maybe with the exception of Nixon) seen a man and his administration so slandered and beaten down, and yet W does absolutely nothing to counter it or expose the lies of it. Some call this the nobility of office, only problem is that by allowing the lies to live, it slowly errodes and destroys the respect for the office for future presidents as well as his own legacy.

He visits them privately, and cries at their flag-covered caskets. Privately. Get that. No photo ops, no marching US Marine detachments across the West Lawn for the TV crews. In fact, no funeral photo ops at all, because soldiers' funerals are not to be used to manipulate poll numbers.

But!! But!!! Rosie said that GWB has never been to a soldier's funeral!!!!

/sarcasm

I was just thinking yesterday when Sarkozy got elected...I'm happy for France that they have a better man in the leadership spot.

Then I thought of the incredibly fine man we have in the Oval. We are blessed by God's grace to have such a fine man willing to lead despite so much slander in these troubled times.
