Russian youth protest Polands Estonia support
08.05.2007
About 40 youth organization activists have staged a picket at the Polish embassy in Moscow to protest against Polands support for Estonia which chose to move a monument to Soviet soldiers from the center of its capital Tallin.
The picketers criticized Warsaws plans to adopt a law to dismantle communist-era monuments in Poland, which they see as tantamount to destroying monuments honoring Soviet troops.

I think “about 40 youth organization activists” have way too much free time.

In other news, while Russians wander out the streets protesting between drug deals, Estonian and Polish youth are busy working at honest jobs.

Eastern Europeans figured out long ago that Putin was not their friend.Someday maybe the West will recognize this as well.

I’d like to nominate you for the “Best Idea of the Year Award!” Katyn Memorial in front of Russian embassy, thumbs up!
But besides that, I think it’s really bet that Poles and Russians can’t get along. A little bit of equally good will on both sides, and we could normalize the relations. I mean, Katyn, Polish-Soviet War, etc. aside, we should at least try and be civil to each other.

True. It is usually the ones that say things like “we kicked your faces in...” or “we are the best. You are garbage...” that set everyone else off. If these kind of people, on both sides, would shut up, things would be much better.

The Little Octobrists, I believe they were called. Or something like that. Just the thought of being in a group with that name makes me puke.
