I think this is a good effort. I’ve believed for a long time that conservatives needed to make a compelling documentary. I favor calling it “The Great Iraq Deception”. The true conspiracy is in how there seems to be an effort to totally disregard all the evidence especially Salman Pak. There are thousands of documents that were seized that show Saddam was very active in training terrorists and planing attacks abroad but it seems our government and the Bush Administration is complicit in the cover up something I don’t understand.
The Democrat memo planning how to under cut the war effort is indicative that there is a concerted political effort to color the Iraq War as lost and to cast doubt on everything leading up to Iraq.

And now, hop!, the links and Saddam’s involvment becomes a matter of Bush 41’s people (who don’t want to admit that they let a major threat in power in 1991) and Clinton’s Democrats.
Iraq has let clues of its involvment in EACH of the terror attacks that struck US interests in a decade. In EACH of these attacks, the terrorists had links with Iraq intelligence services.
In 2000, Al Zawhiri, Al Qaeda number 2, met Saddam’s men in Baghdad.

There is a great difference of opinion as to the sophistication of the anthrax.
His is one view. (search Dr. Doug Beecher for the contrary view expressed by an FBI scientist).
The hijacker with the anthrax lesion had just come from Kandahar where the Al Qaeda anthrax laboratory was located. That is where Suskind reports “extremely virulent anthrax” was found at a residence in Autumn 2003, upon Hambali’s harsh interrogation.
Much is known about who helped Al Qaeda with its anthrax. Rauf Ahmad detained in December 2001. Yazid Sufaat captured in December 2001. Abdul Qadoos Khan and KSM, arrested in March 2003. Yazid Sufaat’s assistants Barq and Wahdan who were captured in 2003. One was Egyptian and one was Sudanese.
Tenet in his book says that he believes in 2006 they conclusively learned that the fellow in Prague was not Atta.
Tenet says Al Qaeda’s anthrax planning was done in parallel with its 9/11 planning. Sufaat briefed Hambali and wrapped things up in Kandahar, Tenet says, in June 2001. He says the anthrax program was strictly compartmentalized at the highest level.
Prior to that, he said, the CIA could not confirm the allegation of the Prague meeting.
In a May 2006 show, Michael Scheuer said that humint and sigint confirmed experimentation with anthrax at Ansar al-Islam but there has been no second report along those lines.

The Iraqi, an American citizen, who worked in the same building as the former heads of the Russian (former First Deputy Ken Alibek) and US programs (former USAMRIID and Ames researcher Bailey) was a supporter of the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and the Saudi sheik al-Hawali. They say the guy at the April 9, 2001 meeting was not Atta. He should have been “a confusion with name” although the Czech operative identified Atta by his face after 9/11, not by his name.
And Atta went to Prague in March 1999, June 2000, April 9 2001, April 22, 2001, he even arrived in the United States in the Summer of 2001 from Prague.
Do you know why the CIA is fighting with the Pentagon about Saddam-al-Qaeda links ? Because it would show its own failure.

Laurie Mylroie demonstrated Iraq was involved in the bombings of 1993. She was backed by FBI officials. Still the US government official story denies it. One of the bomber, Yasin, fled in Iraq. The other, Ramzi Yousef, who arrived in the US with an Iraqi passport, was arrested several months later.
Then 8 years later, planes crashed against buildings, against the same World Trade Center, planned by Yousef’s uncle, Khlaid Sheikh Mohamed.
Mohamed recently admitted he planned the 1993 bombings.
Gad it ? 1993 and 2001 bombing were masterminded by the same man.
And if links with Iraqi involvement were demonstrated by Mylroie and accepted by FBI and justice officials who investigated, it is more than likely that Iraq is also behind the 9/11 and the anthrax attack.
But by admitting that the CIA and the US establishment would agree that they did not their jobs during 10 years and didn’t answer to Iraqi attacks.
The US agencies were not weak on 9/11. They were on the run. A disaster.
This is not surprise North Korea obtained nukes, bin Laden created his base and international terrorism won strength during Clinton’s mandates.

As an example of CIA’s and FBI’s failure, there is the matter of the two hijackers who flew in to Los Angeles but the FBI did not locate them even though the system was “blinking red”.
Another example of the FBI’s failure was that the senior DOJ folks didn’t realize that Moussaoui’s known connection with Ibn Khattab was enough to get them access under FISA to his laptop.
These examples of failures are explained by Tenet.
It was especially crazy for Condi Rice to say that no one ever imagined that planes would be flown into landmarks, when the same had been planned with a plane flying into the Eiffel Tower and even Bojinka had involved the possible scenario of a small explosive-laden plane into Langley.
So there was lots of blame to go around. But given that the anthrax lab techs working prior to 9/11 have been captured, there is no reason to rely on the fact that the hijackers knew how to put pants on as evidence relating to anthrax. Instead, the datum of note is that Tenet for the first time listed 9/11 planner Ramzi Bin Alshibh as having a CBRN role. Previously, we knew only that KSM took over from Atef upon his death of the anthrax cell led by Sufaat and Hambali, and assisted by Barq and Wahdan. But given that the isotopes indicate that the anthrax was grown in the US, there is a very real unresolved issue of whether there were US-based supporters of Al Qaeda that picked up where Sufaat left off in June 2001 when he briefed Hambali and Ayman Zawahiri.
LM’s theory hinged on KSM being an Iraqi agent impersonating KSM. When KSM turned out to be KSM, I’m not clear on what part of her theory survived.
The more nuanced theory is whether or not an Iraqi intelligence agent (named Wael, I believe) had infilitrated Ansar Al-Islam and if so what decision-making role or tactical role he had. It was very dramatic for Michael Scheuer, head of the CIA’s OBL unit, to say that he was certain they were experimenting with anthrax there in 2002 and he urged the President to bomb them (but the Administration was focused instead on invasion).
As far as the suppression of information, there is lots being suppressed for the normal investigative reasons, according to one postal inspector, but no cover-up. It becomes a bit more problematic when someone working closely with OBL’s religious mentor had a top security clearance and had access to the Center for Biodefense facilities and the American Type Culture Collection. By an email, ATCC does not deny it had Ames in its patent repository (as distinguished from its online catalog).
I agree that the connections between AQ and Iraq warrant close examination — such as Ayman Zawahiri’s trip to Baghdad (I believe it was for the son’s birthday in 1998, rather than in 2000). Any Iraqi assistance on technical aspects could be extremely low-key and under the radar.
But given that no one has even noticed that Ali Timimi had access to the Center for Biodefense and ATCC facilities (and had a security clearance), it seems that should be a key line of inquiry. Occam’s Razor and all. The Washington Post reported on this line of thought by the FBI in October 2006 in an article “Hardball Tactics in an Era of Threats.”

The AG says that the FBI Director Mueller expects “some sort of resolution” in the “relatively near future.”
It’s surprising that reporter had confirmed or debunked the report by an Afghan governor Sherzai that the Taliban minister Hanif had packets of anthrax and planned to mail them to government officials — the report was in January.
My own personal view is that the capture of al-Hadi, Ayman Zawahiri’s chief aide at one point, upon his attempt to return to his home country Iraq late last year, has permitted a breakthrough in Amerithrax. Although Al Qaeda’s anthrax program was highly compartmentalized, he had interaction with both Ayman and OBL, and the Weekly Standard referred to him as Ayman’s “caretaker” at one point. So maybe he has answers even if KSM and Hambali didn’t. He was a longtime jihadist in Afghanistan and had been a major in Saddam’s army.
But, as I said, there is no evidence of Saddam’s involvement in anthrax and lots of information bearing on where there know-how came from, to include documentary evidence (such as the uploaded correspondence between Ayman Zawahiri and a scientist he had on a mission to obtain pathogenic anthrax
The Defense Intelligence Agency gave me the documents along with 100 pages from Ayman’s anthrax planning documents. The correspondence is uploaded in the section: “I successfully achieved the targets.”

"Experts" also link the anthrax attacks to the Bush administration, to al Qaeda, to Russia, to Israel, to the CIA, to at least a DOZEN Americans who have been associated with anthrax in some way, and there's probably an "expert" with perfect credentials somewhere who believes that aliens from outer space sent the anthrax.
The one thing we should have all learned from discussions about the anthrax attacks is that most so-called "experts" don't concern themselves with facts; they begin with a belief, and, whenever necessary, they twist and distort the facts to fit that belief. Otherwise they just state their beliefs and ignore the facts altogether.
That would certainly be true of any "expert" who still believes Iraq was behind the anthrax attacks -- or al Qaeda. The facts say such a belief is just plain ridiculous.
