That link is inaccurate. This story was covered on CNN’s website, with a link to a local (TN) news station. That was where I read about it, first after the kids were missing. The story was reported as a carjacking/rape/murder. The horrific nature of the crimes was not reported.

I can't find any mention of the story, any part of it, on CNN's website now.

It may not be there because it was through a link, on their "US News" section. As I posted, that was some time ago. What a heartbreaking story. As I recall, those kids were college students, decent humans, killed by people who likely were high on drugs and who are, in reality, barely animals.

I'm surprised this story hasn't been on Drudge. That would spread it among millions of readers.

Thank you for posting this. so disgusting. I had a difficult time even finding info on it. In one report on some local news station's site, this particular quote caught my attention:

Officer Childress says he went to Lemaricus Davidson's residence on Chipman to serve outstanding warrants on the recently released convicted felon, after Davidson's fingerprint was found inside Channon Christian's recovered 4-runner.

They KNEW the perp's address, had outstanding warrants on him, and didn't go after him until they found his fingerprints on Christian's vehicle??? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..........
