...it did happen. Here's a screen grab from CNN International around midnight ET:
This appeared on screen for 12 seconds. (Two seconds before, President Bush had appeared on screen, but the chyron accurately said "Pressure over Iraq.")

Maybe it was one of those “practice runs”. Didn’t ABC come out with a “Reagan Dead” banner long before he had died and they claimed it was a practice run?

The slip was, it got posted on the air. The people making the banner’s routinely post such crap - every once and a while it goes on air ...
I have a screen shot of the CNN website when they named a photo of GWB something like @$$hole (spelled out, of course), but I don’t have it on this computer. I’ll have to post it later.

I don`t believe for an instant it was an accident.
On most cruise ships CNN International is the only source of news. It’s not just the obvious bias...it’s just plain irritating to watch!
