Forget Estonia, we need to save America from the cultural savagery of the Bolshevik left.

There’s a deeper reason behind the fact that the president of Lithuania when it declared independence was a chess-playing music professor. The Soviets never stood a chance . . . the only question was how many more Baltic citizens would die before they left.

Why lump walmart in with all the repelling western hollywood libertine stuff named in the last line? That one error of judgment spoils the whole piece.

A great look inside Estonia and her people, to bad the left would never read such an article, they are too convinced that “Communism would have worked if only...”

Here is a site with photographs of Estonia. The comments are mostly in German, but thats no problem; your “mause” operates the same in German as English .
There are some hauntingly beautify pictures.

They would never admit that, in fact they still champion what communism was all about, all of the blather about “I am a child of the movemnt” is speaking of the same goals as the commies were trying to obtain.

Death, depression and the greying of the human soul is that communism was good for, I think David Horowitz’s book about the unholy alliance between radical Islam and the Commie left is spot on BTW, and it explains why the NYT pimps for the Islamacists.

I saw a report about 6 months ago in the MSM that Estonia was paying parents something like 12,000 dollars for each child they have, so at least this non-E.U. little country is aware of the shrinking population problem and trying to do something about it. Thankfully they are not replenishing their dwindling population by importing Muslims.

There is an unsolvable problem in states like Estonia. Stalin deported many of the men and imported many non Estonian families. These people have no place to go back to but are not really welcome, particularly the ethnically Russian.

This is a problem that will likely haunt the former U.S.S.R for generations since Stalin did this all over Europe and Asia as a way to break down local resistance.

They can always go back to Russia — the successor state to the USSR.

>>They can always go back to Russia — the successor state to the USSR.<<

I know a lot more about Latvia than Estonia. In Latvia, they don’t generally don’t want to leave. Under the Soviets, Russians got the bulk of good jobs and houses and they make up 34% of the population. They don’t want to speak Latvian and making them leave would be ethnic cleansing. Not to mention inviting hostility from Russia. That said, 10,000 - 20,000 a year do voluntarily remigrate to Russia but its a drop in the bucket.

Its a bad situation. The legacy of Stalin continues to hurt people.
