It’s stuff she needed the first three years of college, but most of that is furnished by the landlord of the home they are leasing. Apartment sized fridge, window curtains & rods, small table, and cooking utensils.

That would hold the same in Britain if you could actually prove the figures seeing as the Home Office does not know who is here in the first place legal or illegal.

Good to know that. Poland, Germany, Canada, Japan results prove MSM was wrong.

Russert is being nice to McCain, so far.

[Timmy likes Johnny’s frequent use of the concepts ‘mismanaged’ and ‘badly mismanaged’.]

I heard Rush talk about the number of Americans killed by illegal immigrants on several of his shows. There was an MS 13 incident in Austin not long ago.

I can remember my friend’s daughter going to college he had a hatch back car and it took him 3 or 4 trips to take her stuff to college and then to the maisonette that she and 2 others rented for the last 2 years at college. As she moved in with her boyfriend after uni he and mates arranged for the furniture to be transferred to their new place and subsequently to the maisonette they bought.

They are married with 2 girls now.

This sunday's Media Nuggets

###### CBS Shames O'Reilly! - O'Reilly aired anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-military ad & declared John Batiste "patriot". Apparently, CBS(!) thought otherwise and CBS fired Gen. Batiste BECAUSE of that anti-military ad. He will not be consultant to CBS News anymore. (Memo to O'Reilly: Keeping Wesley Clark as FNC military-analyst is a shame).

###### Tony Snow talks to CBS! - Job Is his Great Medicine.

###### Hiding the truth is lying too! - US economy tops competitive table. The world's biggest economy topped the rankings of 55 nations compiled in the Swiss-based IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2007.

###### CBS bias on commenting about VP Cheney & Barak Hussain Obama.

###### Proof is in the Pudding Circulation! - Kraft, Wal-Mart and Coca-Cola are prepared to stop spending in magazines if they don't get issue-by-issue circulation guarantees.

###### Rupert Murdoch - Join Al Gore's Inconvenient Lie.

###### Politicizing PBS . . ..

###### "NBC Nightly News With Brian Williams" - hit its lowest performance since 1987. .

###### Sheer Stupidity of Newspapers - Mainstream Media's Follies MICHAEL S. MALONE.

###### Paging O'Reilly! - 3 veterans out of several 1000 retired generals oppose the war is News. 1000s of active duty personnel urge Congress to support the war effort - Not news? Clark is patriot. 1000s of Soldiers - Not?.

###### Star Tribune to cut 145 jobs.

###### GM Chief to Newspaper publishers: Ads will move to Internet, 'Where Our Customers Are Going'.

###### Americans drifted away from TV. 2.5 million fewer people were watching ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. NBC set a record last month for its least- watched week during the past 20 years, and maybe ever.

In a way but how close to the US policy those countries still are I am not sure I would say Britain are still closer.

Anyone watching Rudy squirm as he tries to answer the questions Chris is asking him on abortion? He’s sweating like a pig.

Russert infers from McCain’s position that US troops will be in Iraq for 10 years.

McCain responds that US troops have been in South Korea for 60 years.

It’s ironic in some circles(not here we already knew) to think that the dem/rats are in league and support such dirtbags like Mookie al Sadr who may be behind the possible withdrawal of US forces in Iraq signed by the Iraqi Parliament on 5/10 or is this just more msm BS. Just follow the many links to the Wapost article beginning at:

http://ace.mu.nu/

It may be no coincidence that both Mookie and the dems want out of Iraq right now since “the surge is obviously working better than many had even suspected” that’s here:

Can't the Republicans find anybody else to put up for an interview, or are they all in church?

Gritty, I think it's more like:

Can't the driveby media find some real Republicans to INVITE to their shows or does the fact that they pick the same old Bush-bashing RINOs Sunday after Sunday (for the past almost TEN YEARS I've been doing this thread) tell us anything about the DBMs bias and motives?

Taking a plunge into the taboo topic...

FNC: Taped interview, opens with Giuliani discussing abortion. He appears very uncomfortable, glistening with perspiration, scratching his head. Would not answer Wallace's multiple inquiries, "Why do you personally oppose abortion?" When asked if he would try to change the Republican pro-life platform, Giuliani said, "I wouldn't mess with it."

When moving on to other subjects, Giuliani seems more at ease. Return from commercial break. Giuliani is powder dry, very composed. Moving on to 2nd amendment rights now.

Timmy trying to make McCain look like a fool over the comments he made while visiting the market in Iraq.

Timmy quotes a Mr. Fayed. McCain says he doesn’t know him, but he talked to lots of other folks there who said he was glad we were there and that things were better.

“But Senator, you had an armed escort” in that tone Timmy has, so incredulous.

Russert hit McCain with a quote McCain made about Somalia in 1993 that is counter to the position McCain takes on Iraq. Then, McCain supported the pull out from Somalia.

Russert is turning on McCain. Hitting McCain about increased security at a photo-op in central Baghdad. Locals said the security was abnormal and only increased because of the photo-op.

McCain defends the security, etc. Says they were there ‘for over an hour’. [Snicker. A whole hour, Senator?]
