Well, yes, he can withhold his signature from the treaty, and he can decline to present it to the Senate, I think.

He can also simply refuse to negotiate it in the first place, and instruct the Foreign Service to give it no countenance.

This treaty is more pernicious of American sovereignty and the free market than anything else in the last half century. It is amazing. I share the frustrations posted here in general: friend of the court in the Kelo decision, blatant denial of illegal immigration, absolute refusal, and/or incompetence in taking on the media, or Democrats, etc.

There ARE many US citizens who do care, perhaps even a majority if they were spoken to, but are neutralized by centralized control of the media forums; and thus don't know what to do about it, other than write to public forums and our sad self aggrandizing representatives.
