Origins: On 6 January 2007, Knoxville, Tennessee, residents Christopher Newsom, Jr., 23, and Channon Christian, 21, went out for a dinner date at a local restaurant, then headed to a friend's house to watch a movie. They never came back.
When the couple had failed to return by the following morning, their parents notified police. Christopher Newsom's body was found near some railroad tracks in East Knoxville that afternoon, but Channon Christian remained missing. A trace run on Channon's cell phone helped authorities locate her abandoned vehicle the next day, and fingerprints raised from an envelope inside the automobile led police to the residence of 25-year-old Lemaricus Devall "Slim" Davidson, where they discovered Channon's body wrapped in a blanket.
The details of the crime as they emerged in the press were horrific. Carjackers had taken Channon's vehicle at gunpoint, bound and blindfolded the couple, and transported them to Davidson's residence. At that location, Christopher was raped (in front of Channon) by multiple assailants. His private was cut off, he was shot multiple times, his body was set on fire, and, finally, his corpse was taken away and dumped alongside railroad tracks.

Absolutely disgusting - Everyone should write a letter to their local papers...
The snopes editorial comment was particularly insipid, it is one thing to say “fact” it is quiet another to then excuse the very essence of what was being “fact checked”.
Mainly that the national media did scant reporting on the story, to say “Gee, there are alot of murders” as the reason why this didn’t receive any practicable attention is nonsense and below their standards.
it left me sickened to read the details. What they went through is very difficult to ponder. My heart truly ached at their suffering. The subhumans that did this should forfeit their lives.

I agree with you 100%. These were savages that mutilated butchered and murdered the white boy and the white girl. I read the article Snopes.com. They worked on the girl for four days before they finally killed her. O’Reilly, Lew Dobbs and Glenn Beck don’t have the intestinal fortitude to touch this story.
Remember boys & girls - only white, Christian, men commit hate crimes. Everything else is just regular crime.
