The anti-Jerry Falwell venom flowed on weblogs even before the Moral Majority founder's death was confirmed.

"I knew something had happened because I went outside and I was suddenly surrounded by Munchkins and they were singing," wrote Aaron on the joemygod blog in one of the comments that actually could be repeated.

Bob Owens of NewsBusters.org, a blog hosted by the Media Research Center, said he was not a fan of Falwell but was "quite disgusted with the pathological hatred displayed by liberal bloggers in their reactions to his death."

"Good riddens!!! (sic)" wrote joe on joemygod blog. Richard Weaver added his thoughts: "What a great way to move into the season of gay pride!!!!"

Falwell, who created the influential Liberty University, founded the Moral Majority, a movement that gave fundamentalist and evangelical Christians a voice in the U.S. political process. He was credited with helping elect Ronald Reagan. Falwell died suddenly while at his office at the university.

Typical behavior of the Moonbat Left. These scumbags have a special place in Hell for their indecency towards their fellow man.

The majority of the most venomous comments are coming from homosexuals. I went over to DU and the most vicious, hateful and demented comments were frequently followed by the rainbow flag. Some of the most hateful people I have ever met have been militant homosexuals.

Their hatred will be their undoing. Hell has more than enough room for all of them.

I never liked Falwell, but let the man die in peace. Unless someone is truly evil, when a person dies people should at least find something good to say about them, or say nothing at all.

A lesson from the left, tell them the truth of what they are doing and then listen to them holler.

Ya done good Dr. Falwell, may you enter into your rest.

I am sure his family is sad but forgiving about this kind of hate. You are correct Jerry has no tears today.

Amen.

“Have you not heard how in the beginning.....” Jesus addressed the pharisees. Apparently that pharisees of the gay agenda are equally deaf.

Falwell did a lot of good and he always lifted up the name of Jesus Christ. Rest in peace, bro.

I agree. He has passed, and whatever he chose to believe, was his choice. Now he will find out what he believed was reallly true or not... We are still waiting. BELIEVE...

Exactly, Rev. Falwell is home. While those slamming him - one day - will be held accountable for their every word. Fun and games now but...this life is a vapor compared to eternity.

Their words will last on record. That wasn’t true just 10 or 20 years ago.

Those who write these blogs will never be elected to office, nor appointed to any high place in society. They can’t even donate money or work openly in politics without risking liability.

While young 1960s radicals entered our society to destroy it from within, today’s traitors will never get a foothold.

Incredible.

More from the Dimmycrap grassroots (quotes from DUh):

I wish no peace on him

Ha, there is a God..........

He’s dead. Good.

About ******* time.

As far as I’m concerned, he lived too long.

Good riddance. I’m not going to pretend to be respectful.

IMHO this world is better off w/o him.

Rot in Hell Falwell!

Yes, hell just got more crowded

Can we drive a stake through his heart just to be sure?

he was a piece of **** in this life...

Have a nice stay in hell Jerry.

Thank you for the good news, the world is a better place today!!!

Ding dong the pr*ck is dead....which ol’ pr*ck?...the wicked pr*ck.

Rest In Piss

Wherever he is, I truly hope he’s happy because I sure am.

I rejoice at his passing, just like the world rejoiced at Hitler’s passing

“Good ******’ riddance to bad rubbish. I don’t give a **** and neitherdoes anyone else.” May this pig get snakes shoved up his ass.

One down and several more to go.

Satan just opened up a whole new barbecue pit.

I’m glad the fat ******** is dead may his family join him soon.

rot in the grave you piece of filth.. A-*******-MEN!!!

The bar is open Drinks are on me

I am really upset by his sudden death...why couldn’t it have been a lingering and painful one

My mama taught me to only say good about the dead. Jerry Falwell’s dead...Good.

And that is just one thread on one board of the Party ofCompassion. If I chose, I could find equally compassionate things on other sites of the POC. But I think this shows us all that these folks are every bit the compassionate people they say they are. These kind remarks show how right they are to lecture the rest of us all the time about compassion. Spreading a lot of love and compassion there!

from what i can remember, rev fallwell may have disagreed with their lifestyle, but i don’t recall him making hateful, death wish, comments about gays, you’d think the way some of these leftists are celebrating, they were celebrating the death of hitler
