When visiting Duncan Hunter’s website today, you’ll notice that prior to going to the main site there is a screen with a quote about Jerry Falwell. If you look at the title of that page in your browser’s menu bar it says:

The title bar from Chuck Hagel’s official site (hagel.tv) says the exact same thing as the vandalized title on Hunter’s site (including punctuation):

I’m sorry, but a supporter of a third-tier non-candidate hacking the site of a second-tier (though admirable) candidate is more than pathetic.
To be honest, I’d be shocked if it were one of the 4 Hagel supporters. It’s probably a leftie who didn’t want to make it so obvious it was a leftie.

Hagel wouldn’t do it, but I’m willing to bet there are some anti war types (could be Hagel supporters that would)
Now it has the graphic; but says “The Official Site of Duncan Hunter for US President in 2008” in the title menu.
Maybe the webmaster is just working on the site?

Hopefully this shows up in the news, at least Duncan Hunter should get some exposure out of it.

It is possible that both sites are hosted on the same computer. Sabotage cannot be ruled out, but it could also be a bug in the hosting system, or an administrative error.
