Hope it is ok to quote the exact excerpt of the 9/11 Commission Report that the 44th President of the United States relied on last night.

I don’t feel up to reading 585 pages just now.

Was that quote from Jamie Gorelik?

Bin Laden went into a lot of detail over the years on exactly what his beef with us is. Why this is suddenly a mystery is beyond me.

Why Hasn’t Rudy Giuliani Read the 9-11 Commission Report?

May 16, 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ARLINGTON, VA – During the “First in the South” GOP debate in South Carolina last night, one thing was made clear: Rudy Giuliani does not understand how to keep America safe.

When Congressman Ron Paul, who has long served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, explained how 50 years of American interventionism in the Middle East has helped compromise our national security, Giuliani interrupted saying he had “never heard anything so absurd.” This statement is particularly troubling coming from the former mayor who tries to cast himself as a security expert, since Dr. Paul’s point comes directly from the bi-partisan 9-11 Commission Report.

“Rudy Giuliani has tip-toed around the issues of abortion, guns and marriage. The only issue he has left is security, and he doesn’t even get that right,” said campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “It is clear from his interruption that former Mayor Giuliani has not read the 9-11 Commission Report and has no clue on how to keep America safe.”

After watching Washington Journal this morning on CSPAN, I was surprised about the reaction to the debate last night.

I am thoroughly excited about a Ron Paul candidacy. While he won't win the nomination, he will be a huge steering factor. I honestly believe that no one still in office will be on that ticket.

Enough already of understanding the savages. Give them Spain as they keep asking for and let’s cut our losses.

Besides the Spanish cowards won’t mind being made into slaves.

Solution? Let bin laden dictate US policy. That was easy.

Ron Paul the Libertarian Dennis Kucinich. Very few take him seriously. Osama Bin Laden also said our withdrawal from Somalia showed America would retreat when attacked. Osama has Ron Paul pegged.

Greivance ? Grievance ? So, fly planeloads of innocent people into buildings filled with innocent people or into a field...That's how a grievance is addressed.

F*** Binny and the camel he rode in on...

Who’s Ron Paul?

Think much nuttier than Ross Perot, and only slightly less nutty than Lyndon LaRouche. Think, for instance, of a "Republican" who supports Dennis Kookcinich's call for a "Truther" friendly 9-11 investigation. That's Ron Paul.

Santa Anna had grievances with Texas too. If Ron Paul had been around then, I guess he would have given him Texas without firing a shot at the Alamo. Very few conservatives are defending Ron Paul on the internet today after his pathetic showing last night.

Here is the introduction to Al Qaeda’s Training Manual... tell me if this manual was written in reaction to US policies are is influenced by a specific understanding of Islamic teaching :

http://www.disastercenter.com/terror/Al_Qaeda_Manual_PRESENTATION.htm

In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate

PRESENTATION
To those champions who avowed the truth day and night... ...And wrote with their blood and sufferings these phrases...

-*-The confrontation that we are calling for with the apostate regimes does not know Socratic debates..., Platonic ideals..., nor Aristotelian diplomacy. But it knows the dialogue of bullets, the ideals of assassination, bombing, and destruction, and the diplomacy of the cannon and machine-gun.

***...
Islamic governments have never and will never be established
through peaceful solutions and cooperative councils. They are established as they [always ]have been

by pen and gun

by word and bullet

by tongue and teeth

Pledge, O Sister

To the sister believer whose clothes the criminals have stripped o f f .
To the sister believer whose hair the oppressors have shaved.
To the sister believer who’s body has been abused by the human dogs.
To the sister believer whose...

Pledge, O Sister

Covenant, O Sister ...to make their women widows and their children orphans.
Covenant, O Sister ...to make them desire death and hate appointments and prestige.
Covenant, O Sister...to slaughter them like lambs and let the Nile,al-Asi,and Euphrates rivers flow with their blood.
Covenant, O Sister...to be a pick of destruction for every godless and apostate regime.
Covenant, O Sister...to retaliate for you against every dog who touch you even with a bad word.

In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate
Thanks be to Allah. We thank him, turn to him, ask his forgiveness, and seek refuge in him from our wicked souls and bad deeds. Whomever Allah enlightens will not be misguided, and the
deceiver will never be guided. I declare that there is no god but Allah alone; he has no partners. I a l s o declare that Mohammed is his servant and prophet.

[Koranic verses ]:

“O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam”

“O mankind! Fear your guardian lord who created you from a single person. Created, out of it, his mate, and from them twain scattered [like seeds ]countless men and women; fear Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual [rights ],and be heedful of the wombs [that bore you ]:for Allah ever watches over you.”

“O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and make your utterance straight forward: That he may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins. He that obeys Allah and his messenger, has already attained the great victory.”

Afterward,

The most truthful saying is the book of Allah and the best guidance is that of Mohammed, God bless and keep him. [Therefore,] the worst thing is to introduce something new, for every novelty is an act of heresy and each heresy is a deception.
