CHARLESTON In a new twist in American race relations, a federal court has ruled that a white teacher in a predominantly African-American school was subjected to a racially hostile workplace.
The case concerned Elizabeth Kandrac, who was routinely verbally abused by black students at Brentwood Middle School in North Charleston. Their slurs make shock jock Don Imus look like a church deacon.

Although Kandrac clearly suffered she was suspended from her job shortly after a story about her EEOC complaint appeared in the local newspaper, and her contract was not renewed her case didnt meet evidentiary requirements for damages. The judge said a new trial would have to determine damages, but the school district and Kandrac settled for $200,000.

Lets be clear: What these children called this teacher is beyond reprehensible and could be only be construed as hostile and threatening. Heres a sample: white b, white m f, white c, white a, white ho.
Other white teachers and students corroborated Kandracs account, including a male war veteran who testified he would rather return to Vietnam than to Brentwood.

That's the crux of the problem! The teachers have no authority in the classroom and the children know it.
Be careful here, if the teacher is to be defended it will damage the Democrap Party. Their (Democraps) tolerance for this type of behavior just to get the Black vote is criminal!
So, if a white person claimed that racially charged profanity is just part of THEIR culture, then they should be given a pass, too.
The soft bigotry of low expectations. What can you EXPECT of these kids? Just look at them!
I don't blame him. In Vietnam he was better armed than his opponents.
I have been doing a lot of substitute teaching lately, and in my experience the discourtesy, and occasionally outright hostility, is profound. These young people have little or no respect for authority. It is rather shocking after living in the “adult world” where the rules of common courtesy are generally followed.
Some of these children never expect to live in the "adult world." They presume they have enough talent to become rock stars, rappers or athletes where coming off as an illiterate, uncouth idiot is the norm or they expect to die in some gang-banger incident before the age of 18 anyway and see no reason to learn how to fit into the real world.
They ruined, ablated, and desecrated and entire generation of people, probably two generations, maybe more.
When are WE going to stop this sh$t? If we don't, we will have socialism and income redistribution on a scale that Europe will laugh at.
If those people want what I have, then come and work for it, like I did. Don't suck off of me, I have a family to support, and they are not my family!
Here you have it. The law of unintended consequences. Welfare, the “Great Society”, the fix to a problem that was vastly over done by the leftist media, and the liberal RATS trying to buy votes. Now it produces this and the leftist media is surprised? What a bunch of idiots.
I disagree only that the consequences were unintended. I contend that they fully intended to keep certain people under the thumb of government, and dependent rather than be allowed and motivated to pursue their newly found freedom.
Yes, you are right.
What’s alarming is what the world is going to be like when they’re adults and the present older, and much more courteous, generation dies off. It’ll be every man for himself.
