Republican Immigration Talking Points
Hugh Hewitt ^ | 5/16/2007 | RNC

Following are allegedly the RNC immigration talking points dated today, and borrowed from Hugh Hewitt's site since they're not to be found at www.rnc.org.

Click on the Hugh Hewitt link above for Hewitt's commentary (which he calls "5 pages of crap").

BORDER SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION REFORM

Republicans Standing Together to Fight for Tougher Enforcement and an Immigration System That Better Serves American Interests

As negotiations continue, Republicans are demanding the following from the Democrat majority:

v Beefed-up border security. Republicans are insisting on dramatic and immediate improvements to border security, including 18,000 Border Patrol agents and 370 miles of fencing, as part of a continuous effort to protect the borders.

  1. ?? Republicans insist that border security improvements must be completed before other reforms can occur. Democrats blocked any "triggers" in last year’s bill.

v Enforcement at the workplace. Republicans are insisting on a meaningful, effective, and workable electronic employment verification system that will prevent employers from hiring illegal workers and eliminate the "magnet" that attracts so many illegal aliens.

  1. ?? This verification system must be fully operational before other reforms occur (another "trigger"), a position Democrats rejected last year and have resisted in negotiations.

v Merit-based future immigration system and end to "chain migration." Republicans are insisting on eliminating "chain migration" and transforming our immigration system so that all future efforts are focused on attracting those immigrants (and their immediate, nuclear families) who have the combination of job skills, education, and English language proficiency that will make them productive Americans.

  1. ?? The Democrat majority has resisted any effort to ensure that our immigration system be rebalanced to serve national needs and still clings to a broken "chain migration" system that does not serve the national interest.

v A truly temporary worker program. Republicans insist that a temporary worker program be for a limited period of time and not serve as a path to citizenship. Temporary workers must truly be temporary.

  1. ?? The Democrat majority continues to resist this approach, seeking to let "temporary" workers stay in the United States indefinitely and become permanent residents without going home.

v Strict limits on processing of illegal aliens. Majority-party Democrats made legalization of illegal aliens a non-negotiable priority, but Republicans refused to allow automatic amnesty or a guaranteed path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Republicans insist that all green card applicants must (1) go to the back of the line behind those who have followed the law, (2) pay higher fines than in last year’s bill, (3) pass a criminal background check, (4) show a nearly perfect work history, English proficiency, and familiarity with American civics. If they cannot do so, they will be subject to removal. Republicans also insist that access to permanent status be prioritized based on immigrants’ job skills, education, and English proficiency. Illegal aliens will not gain an automatic right to stay in this country indefinitely.

  1. ?? Democrats wanted last year’s permissive Senate bill, which allowed illegal aliens to jump to the front of the line and did not require illegal aliens to continue to work.

The GOP is once again showing why they have been called “The Stupid Party.”

If this passes, the GOP will cease to be a national party. Period. Call Morty and make book, the GOP is done forever.

Yea, just how would the Democrats get this through the Senate without Republican help?

Actually it doesn’t sound as bad as we were led to believe.

However the credibility of the Republican Congress and Jorge Bush is exactly zero when it comes to immigration. So I expect these “talking points” to be radically altered by the time they reach a vote.

If they produce any form of amnesty whatsoever, I have already cast my last vote for and as a Republican.

That’s my impression. The rumors out tonight suggested total capitulation, but these talking points look like the GOP is taking a reasonably hard line.

The question is, will they prevail. Better no bill than capitulate.

It contains an amnesty.

It reduces the already flimsy attempt at fencing the border last year.

The rest is all noise and detail, significant of nothing.

The GOP is selling out their voters. The polling on this issue is huge and overwhelming: the voters want the border controlled and illegal immigration dealt with.

As a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, I’ve had to suffer more than enough crap from Bush, but this weasel-word double-speak on this immigration “reform” is the last straw. George W. Bush is, without a doubt, the single worst president of my lifetime.

And those who would have us believe that “Bush is right on the war on terror” — no he isn’t. If he won’t control our own borders, he isn’t serious about defending this country. Period, end of discussion. Look at the background and trail that the Ft. Dix terrorists took to get into this country. They came in through Mexico.

“It reduces the already flimsy attempt at fencing the border last year.”

I have heard the parroted phrase “A wall/fence will not work” over and over and over. But from what I have read the improvements in the San Diago area have worked pretty well. Their logic is that it simply moves the problem to another area.....like here in Arizona. Sure it is tougher on us here, but I would rather they push the problem to a section of hell-like desert than have it remain in a easy walk across area. Make it tough as possible to get here. I really do not care if someone dies in the desert because of their own actions.

And like you, NVDave, I believe we have been betrayed by Bush big time.

A total joke. And this list of lies shows how dumb they think we are.

The Republicans have signed on for total amnesty and even more open borders, and they think the voters are too stupid to read through their lies.

Hazleton’s Lou Barletta has shown that being tough on illegal aliens pays off at the ballot box, winning both the Republican primary AND the Democrat primary by write-in in a heavily Democrat city.

The Republican leadership has sold out totally. Looks like in 2008 we can all stay home. Let them get the votes from their newly legalized alien law breakers and their greedy profiteering buddies at the Chamber of Commerce.

I’ve changed my position.

Bring the troops home now. If Bush won’t defend our own borders why the hell are we worrying about Iraq? The crap about fighting them there so they won’t come here is a joke - they will be able to come here anytime they want with this legislation, and even allowed to vote.

Bring the troops home now so that they can at least enjoy the last days of the dying American civilization before it becomes a third-world country.

And the say that Bush wants this sham to be his legacy. I’m sure the hispanic victors will honor him on some future E.U. (Estados Unidos) dollar bills - or pesos.

The below is a new version translated for accuracy by your humble servant.

BORDER SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION REFORM

BORDER ELIMINATION AND RECONQUISTA

Republicans Standing Together to Fight for Tougher Enforcement and an Immigration System That Better Serves American Interests

Republicans Bending Over to Remove the Last Vestige of Enforcement and A Self-Service System That Better Services the Greater North American Co-Prosperity Sphere

As negotiations continue, Republicans are demanding the following from the Democrat majority:

As surrender continues, Republicans are salivating at the chance to give the following to the Democrat majority:

v Beefed-up border security. Republicans are insisting on dramatic and immediate improvements to border security, including 18,000 Border Patrol agents and 370 miles of fencing, as part of a continuous effort to protect the borders.

Dramatic loosening of border security. Republicans have acquiesed in the symbolic deployment of National Guard troops to the borders in states such as Texas and Mexico, where they are placed in support roles and forbidden to carry loaded weapons. Border Patrol Agents who attempt to carry out their sworn duties are faced with summary arrest. The 370 miles of fence allegedly called for during the last Republican surrender have had their funding removed.

1. ?? Republicans insist that border security improvements must be completed before other reforms can occur. Democrats blocked any "triggers" in last year’s bill.

Republicans insist on following up NAFTA with the Trans-Texas corridor including the placement of Mexican sovereign territory in Kansas City. We can only hope that it will not involve "terror-tory" with nuclear triggers.

v Enforcement at the workplace. Republicans are insisting on a meaningful, effective, and workable electronic employment verification system that will prevent employers from hiring illegal workers and eliminate the "magnet" that attracts so many illegal aliens.

Lack of enforcement in the workplace. Republicans are insisting on hyping a series of small token raids in an attempt to persuade a gullible public that they are cracking down on illegal immigration. In return, they are proposing to eliminate caps on H1-B visas and loading social services programs which will act as bigger magnets than ever.

1. ?? This verification system must be fully operational before other reforms occur (another "trigger"), a position Democrats rejected last year and have resisted in negotiations.

The poll numbers must show that the ruse is working before the complete unification of the United States with Mexico can be attempted.

v Merit-based future immigration system and end to "chain migration." Republicans are insisting on eliminating "chain migration" and transforming our immigration system so that all future efforts are focused on attracting those immigrants (and their immediate, nuclear families) who have the combination of job skills, education, and English language proficiency that will make them productive Americans.

Meritless defenses of "chain migration" are going to be replaced by a Gold Card system designed to attract so many Mexicans (all of whom will vote Democrat) that those pesky social conservatives will never bother us again.

1. ?? The Democrat majority has resisted any effort to ensure that our immigration system be rebalanced to serve national needs and still clings to a broken "chain migration" system that does not serve the national interest.

The Democrat majority at this point is more interested in defending the border than we are, since two of their core constituencies -- blacks and unions -- are beginning to be replaced by illegal immigrants.

v A truly temporary worker program. Republicans insist that a temporary worker program be for a limited period of time and not serve as a path to citizenship. Temporary workers must truly be temporary.

A truly temporary worker program. By this we mean the program will be temporary, not the workers. By the time we get done, between the illegal immigrants and the H1-B visa "reforms", there will be NO middle class in the United States and the Union with Mexico will be achieved.

1. ?? The Democrat majority continues to resist this approach, seeking to let "temporary" workers stay in the United States indefinitely and become permanent residents without going home.

The Democrat majority is realizing that if they can just give us a little more rope (say until Islamic terrorists smuggled across the Southern border can strike), then they can regain at one stroke all the political capital on National Defence which the Republicans have painstakingly accumulated ever since the Vietnam War.

v Strict limits on processing of illegal aliens.

When pigs fly. Republicans insist on the Matricula Consular card, which is so insecure, even some bars won't accept it as proof of drinking age. We won't even admit publicly that we are unable to count the number of illegal aliens in the United States to closer than five or six million, and we have NO idea how to get any of them to go home. We have neither the political will nor the ability to do more than a token effort to enforce the existing laws, so we will take the path of least resistance and do something to line our own pockets at the expense of ordinary Americans.

1. ?? Democrats wanted last year’s permissive Senate bill, which allowed illegal aliens to jump to the front of the line and did not require illegal aliens to continue to work.

Our big business lobbyists are disappointed at the last failed attempt to ramrod amnesty through the Senate, so they have gone to Ted Kennedy to work more of his magic which he last exercised in the 1965 immigration bill.

DRAFT 5/16/07

Border Security Guaranteed by Republican Efforts

Mexican Security Guaranteed by Republican Efforts

* • Republicans have championed greater border enforcement in order to better protect us against terrorist, drug smuggling, human trafficking, and illegal immigration.

Republicans have championed greater border openness in order to better serve terrorists, drug smugglers, human trafficking, and illegal immigration. Does the Mexican government have something they are holding over the head of Jorge Arbusto?

* • Republicans insisted on the following enforcement measures in this bill before any other reforms (including a temporary worker program or adjustment of status for illegal aliens) are implemented:

Republicans insisted on the following token enforcement efforts before any other amnesty is attempted:

1. ? 18,000 border patrol and immigration enforcement agents must be hired.

1. 18,000 agents must be hired, but they must be politically neutered to make sure they are even less competent than the TSA screeners at major airports. As a courtesy to the Democrats, we shall see to it that all of the agents are unionized. These will be among the only secure jobs in the unión norteamericana.

2. ? 370 miles of border fencing must be built.

2. 370 express importation stations must be built.

3. ? 200 miles of vehicle barriers must be completed.

3. 200 vehicle/hour capacity border crossing highways must be built.

4. ? 70 ground-based radar and camera towers on the southern border must be operational.

4. 70 camera towers to guard against abuses by the border patrol must by operational.

5. ? 4 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles must be deployed.

5. 'Unmanned' describes us Republicans pretty well. Oh, and the UAV's must not have working cameras.

6. ? 27,500 detention beds must be available so that apprehended aliens can be detained.

6. 27,500 retention beds must be available so that apprehended aliens can be entertained. Did we mention as a courtesy to Sen. Reid that prostitution is illegal in Nevada? It's pretty close to both California and Arizona.

* • Triggers: Republicans have insisted that all of the above improvements to border security be implemented before any additional reforms can take place. If they do not occur, then there will be no temporary worker program or movement on a path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Democrats vigorously resisted triggers such as these in last year’s bill.

Triggers: Republicans have insisted on all of the above enabling mechanisms for the removal of our Southern border before they will contribute any more to Sen. Clinton's re-election campaign. If these do not occur, the RNC may elect to fund Barak "Hussein" Obama's campaign instead.

Republicans Bolstered Workplace Enforcement

Republicans Bolstered Workplace Sellout

* • Republicans know that border security is not enough: we must also eliminate the opportunities for illegal workers to be hired in the United States.

Republicans know that erasing the border is not enough: we must also eliminate the possibility that native-born US citizens can ever be hired in the United States.

* • The bill will create an Electronic Employment Verification System ("EEVS") so only legal workers can get jobs.

* The bill will create a Peon's Employment Structure Organization ("PESO") so that only illegal immigrants can get jobs.

* • Once the EEVS is in place (the administration predicts 18 months), illegal aliens without the right to work will find it extremely difficult to gain any legitimate employment. * Once the PESO is in place (the administration hopes to have this in time for the incoming Democratic President) US citizens will find it extremely difficult to gain any employment, legitimate or otherwise (except as border patrol agents).

* • Illegal workers not only will be subject to removal from the country but will be permanently barred from any U.S. immigration program.

* Illegal workers will not only be invited to the country but will be permanently barred from returning to Mexico. They may, however, send home as much of their paycheck as they wish.

* • Employers who knowingly hire illegal workers will face stiff penalties.

* Employers who knowingly hire hire illegal workers will be treated to a stiff drink with Ted Kennedy. (They will be driven home in separate cars.)

* • Another Trigger: Republicans also insisted that this new EEVS be fully operational before reforms such as the temporary worker program or status adjustment for illegal aliens occur. Democrats vigorously resisted any effort to make an operational EEVS a precondition for other reforms.

* Another Trigger: Republicans insist that all of these sellouts be fully operational before the "votes without borders" program to allow Mexican Nationals still in Mexico unrestricted access to US elections are implemented. Democrats resisted any effort to require the Mexican citizens to be in the United States when they cast their ballot.

DRAFT 5/16/07 3

Republicans Successfully Demanded an Immigration System Based on Merit

Republicans Successfully Sold Out to Create an Immigration System Entirely Without Merit

* • Republicans are insisting on eliminating "chain migration" and transforming our immigration system into one based on qualification and merit.

* Republicans are insisting on eliminating "chain migration" and transforming the country by eliminating the border entirely, thus removing from Mexicans the risk and inconvenience of actually having to cross the border.

* • Due to Republican demands and over Democrat objections, the bill will require all future immigrants to qualify based on merit through a "point system."

* Due to Republican Demands and over Democrat objections, the bill will require all future immigrants to contribute to both Democrat and Republican campaigns.

* • The main components of the merit-based "point system" will be

* The main components of the meritless "point system" will be

1. ? job skills deemed helpful to the U.S. economy;

1. Lack of job skills which could ever contribute to the US economy (to make Republican contributors happy);

2. ? level of educational attainment (with added points for science/math); and

2. Level of familiarity with the teachings of Che Guevara (to make college professors happy)

3. ? degree of English language proficiency.

3. Degree of support for mandatory bilingual education (to keep the teacher's unions happy)

* • The impact of this new merit-based "point system" will be to ensure entry and permanent residence to those with higher levels of education and professional qualifications.

* The impact of this meritless "point system" will be to ensure pandering to both Republican and Democrat focus groups, while doing as much as possible to undermine the nation's overall level of education and professional qualifications.

1. ? Currently, only 20 percent of immigrants are admitted based on merit; the remainder gain permanent residence due to some form of familial relation.

1. Currently, only 20 percent of immigrants are admitted based on merit; the remainder just sneak in. There are FAR too many literate illegals.

2. ? All new immigrants will still be able to bring their immediate families (spouses and minor children), but other relatives will need to qualify under the point system.

2. All new immigrants will still be able to bring their immediate families (spouses, minor children, first and second cousins, aunts, grandparents, and first boyfriends, as long as they *look* like they could have snuck across the border), but they will now be able to circumvent the point system by paying bribes directly to the politicians, thus removing the market for coyotes.

* • This end to "chain migration," which allows migration of extended family members who cannot show they will benefit to America, is a significant Republican victory.

* This end to "chain migration" will significantly beef up the coffers of the RNC, in time for a magnanimous goodwill gesture to either the Hillary Clinton or Barak "Hussein" Obama Presidential Campaign.

Republicans Guaranteed a Truly Temporary Worker Program

Republicans Guaranteed a Truly Temporary National Sovereignty

* • Republicans know that American businesses have labor needs that the American workforce does not always satisfy, so they support a temporary worker program that will ensure that ample workers exist to fill those jobs.

* Republicans know that American businessmen are greedy slime that don't want to pay living wages (even to PhD holders), so they support a temporary sovereignty program in order to hold down the cost of labor until the rest of the workforce is outsourced to India.

* • But Republicans have insisted that a temporary worker program should be temporary, and that it should not provide a direct path to citizenship.

* But Republicans have insisted that a temporary sovereignty program should really be temporary, and that it should provide a direct path to the promised unión norteamericana

* • Workers will be able to enter the country for two years, working for an employer who has demonstrated that no American is available to fill the position.

Workers will be able to enter the country for two years, working for an employer who has demonstrated that he is able to line a Congressman's pockets.

1. ? The worker must leave after two years and cannot renew for at least one year.

1. The worker must leave after two years unless he has produced at least one anchor baby.

2. ? A temporary worker can work for a total of three separate two-year terms, with one year out of the country between each term. (The rationale is to prevent temporary workers from establishing roots and refuse to leave when their term is completed.)

2. A temporary worker can work for a total of three separate two-year terms, with one year out of the country between each term to produce even more anchor babies. (The rationale is to prevent the supply of anchor babies and cheap labor from drying up. We don't want the illegals ever to aspire to, or even worse, to attain to, middle class status. They might ask for higher wages, or even worse, stop voting the straight Democrat ticket.

3. ? All temporary workers will be able to travel freely to and from their home countries.

3. All temporary workers will be able to travel for free (at US taxpayer expense) to and from their home countries. All US citizens re-entering the country will be subject to body cavity searches to be performed in public by the members of the opposite sex, to make sure that they are not undercover Muslim terrorists. (Showing a Matricula Consular card will automatically exempt you from the search, even if you are wearing a bomb belt and a burqua.)

* • Temporary workers must return home after their work period expires. Failure to depart on time will result in criminal penalties and a permanent bar on participating in any U.S. immigration programs, i.e., the worker could never gain an American green card.

* Temporary workers must return home after their work period expires. Failure to depart on time could result in having to listen to canned speeches by President Jorge Arbusto on how they are only here "to do the jobs Americans won't."

* • Republicans’ insistence on "temporary means temporary" will protect American workers and maintain the integrity of the U.S. immigration system.

* Republicans' insistence on "temporary means temporary" will have about the same effect on illegal immigration as those stupid "No means NO!" campaigns had on Bill Clinton's sexual purity.

DRAFT 5/16/07 4

Republicans Ensured Limits on Legalization of Existing Illegal Population

Republicans Ensured Limits on Legal Republican Voting Population

* • Democrats made clear that no bill would pass without a provision to allow illegal aliens to gain citizenship, and pledged to hold hostage all border security and interior enforcement improvements.

* Democrats made clear that no bill would pass without a provision to allow illegal aliens to gain citizenship; Republicans held this hostage since if they illegals become citizens then they *might* be expected to obey the laws and social norms still left in the United States [sic].

* • In response, Republicans united to block automatic amnesty and guarantee that strict limits be imposed on those illegal aliens who wish to become American citizens.

* In response, Republicans agreed to cave provided that a strict 20% tariff on the bribes paid to Democrats be funneled into Republican coffers, similar to those "revenue sharing" arrangements that small-TV-market baseball teams have with the New York Yankees.

* • Due solely to Republican efforts, illegal aliens will not gain an automatic right to stay in this country indefinitely.

* Due solely to Republican efforts to imprison as many border guards as possible, illegal aliens have an inalienable right to stay in this country without having to pay taxes OR having to obey any laws. Armed lawyers from the ACLU have been put on permanent retainer at taxpayer expense to ensure that "no illegal is left behind."

* • Republican demands guaranteed the following:

* Republican demands guaranteed the following:

1. o First, Republicans insisted that illegal aliens should not be permitted even to apply for permanent residence unless he or she can demonstrate:

1. First, Republicans insisted that illegal aliens should not be permitted to apply for free citizenship unless they can demonstrate in mass marches in Los Angeles numbering at least 100,000 people.

2. ? a nearly uninterrupted work history, i.e., the worker (head of household) must show that he or she has been employed for 90 percent of the previous four years;

2. a nearly uninterrupted work history, i.e., the worker (or any of his relatives or friends, but NOT anchor babies under the age of 40) must be able to have a friend or relative vouch for him that he has hung around outside of a Home Depot, Lowe's, or similar store for at least two hours a day, at least once a week, for the past year, and to the best of their knowledge and belief, does not REMEMBER having driven without insurance or been convicted of more than three felonies.

3. ? a proven proficiency in English; and

3. a proven contempt for English

4. ? an education in American civics.

4. a profound ignorance of American civics. (This may be substituted for simply by paying a larger bribe.)

5. ? If an illegal alien cannot demonstrate this work history, proficiency in English, and education in American civics, then he or she will not earn the right to permanent residency and will be subject to deportation and will be permanently barred from the U.S.A.

5. If an illegal alien cannot demonstrate the proper contempt for the United States, he or she will be sent to either University of California Berkeley or to Harvard University (at taxpayer expense) for special tutoring until the proper hatred for our country is learned.

6. o Second, Republicans insisted that all illegal aliens seeking permanent residence must get in line behind the legal applicants for permanent residence who did not enter the country illegally. And they must return home to make the formal application.

6. Second, Republicans insisted that all illegal aliens seeking employment must get in line behind the hordes of non-English-speaking Indians seeking jobs in tech support and call centers.

7. o Third, Republicans insisted on higher penalties and fees that illegal aliens must pay in order to remain in the country, and also demanded that illegal aliens pay all back taxes they may owe.

7. Third, Republicans insisted on higher bribes illegal aliens must pay in order to remain in the country, and also demanded that the companies hiring illegal workers pick up the price for any fines to be paid by illegal workers (the costs of course to be rebated by fees on taxpayers).

* • Many illegal aliens will never clear these tough hurdles and will be subject to removal. And because of the tough new workplace enforcement mechanisms, they will not be able to be employed in any legitimate business enterprise.

* Many illegal aliens will refuse to have their chain yanked by these absurd measures and will simply stay underground.

* • If Republicans had not fought for these limits, Democrats would have passed an automatic amnesty bill without any of the restrictions that Republicans have now guaranteed.

* If Republicans had merely told Senator Kennedy to go piss up a rope, and to come back while sober (and gone on a diet to boot) the country would have been a much better place. But Republicans have never had any balls.

Congressional Republicans reverting to minority party form:

The Dems propose to tear down the Washington Monument, and the Republicans counter with a proposal to do it in three stages.

Don’t you think you’re overreacting a little; afterall, Ronald Reagan also gave amnesty to millions of illegals, and he is considered one of the greatest presidents by conservatives myself included.

There is no way any kind of mass deportation will ever take place. Liberals and the ‘supply and demand’ for cheap labor Republicans have seen fit for the face of this nation to be forever changed. NO not the ‘race’ face the law and order face.

George W. Bush is, without a doubt, the single worst president of my lifetime.

Agreed.

Do you want Hillary to become president?

No, but Jorge Bush, the Republicans in Congress, and the Republican National Committee sure do.

Surely they're not so incredibly stupid that they can't comprehend the millions of loyal and longtime Republican votes they're about to flush down the toilet.

This place is beginning to sound more and more like DU.

Yours is an ignorant Bushbot statement.

Elephant in the living room: how is ICE going to process 12 to 18 million applications; validate the same number of criminal background checks; insure medical fitness (testing for AIDS, TB, etc. as all other visa applicants are subject to; validate any and all documentation from Mexico/Honduras/Salvador; process financial and employment documentation; etc.

Personally I'd say there's going to be a huge business opportunity in false documentation down south of the border (but, ssshhhhhh, don't tell anyone)

The biggest problem that no one is talking about? As INS, ICE was known as "the worst agency in the federal government" (that's what my Senator's staff and a lawyer at the State Dept. told me). How is such an agency going to find the systems, staff, and money to do this gargantuan job? Maybe they'll do what they did with the multimillion application backlog a couple years ago: when a country's immigration quota had been met, all further applications ceased to be counted. Presto, chango. No backlog, the INS/ICE way.

This is a horrible idea and we'll be paying for it culturally, politically, and financially for at least the next decade.

And Chezwick, the people at DU love it.

So what. Fine those employing illegal aliens and remove the work that brings and keeps them here. They will go home if there's no work.

And what do you propose we do, forcibly remove them? We would have a civil war on our hands.

And what do you propose we do, forcibly remove them?

It's simple, and it works, and you know it:

prosecute and fine those employers who are hiring illegal aliens. For extra effectiveness, surveil those 7-11 parking lots known to function as employment locations for illegals (citizen groups were doing this in Herndon, VA last year, and the employers took off in their trucks as soon as they knew they were being photographed).

If we stop the employment pipeline, illegals will find no reason to stay here. They will self-deport.

Vote against any politician supporting illegal aliens. In Herndon (above), the city council approved a "day laborer center" despite stiff objection from citizens. The next election, five of seven city council members were ejected out of office. The sixth somehow was re-elected, and the seventh had voted against the center.

What Hispanic vote? As much as 80% of them currently in the US are illegal. Only if you legalize them does it then become necessary to fight for their votes. And it's one the GOP will never win the majority of unless they become the twin sister of the democrats and change their name to the Socialists Party of America.

The illegal immigration solution should be as follow:

Greatly increase the enforcement of the borders.

Grant temporary working status to the illegal immigrants already here with an initial fee of $ 5,000 and must be renewed every 2 years for $ 1,000. These temporary workers must not have a path to citizenship by any mean.

The ones doing the hiring are also the ones funding the political candidates, why else hasn't the law been enforced? This illegal invasion has been willingly allowed and there are just too many profiteers involved to do anything other than to force the rest of law abiding citizens but do our part in funding the health care and education.

Haven't you been told yet this is what Jesus would do??

I expect the liberals already have their votes after all it has been liberal policy that set out the welcome mat. There are some Republicans candidates they might vote for but I seriously doubt that conservatives will be viewed as their type of candidates.

Don’t give Hispanics the vote. Don’t let them become citizens. We have enough citizens. Don’t need any more. Especially from Mexico.

I couldn’t have said it better myself!
