Terrific find.

I just stumbled upon this extensive Gillray collection at Princeton. Browsing images will display them medium-sized, an injustice easily remedied by opening them in a new window, then changing the number following "res=" from 3 to 1. For example, The Apotheosis of Hoche, tweaked to yield The [bloody huge] Apotheosis of Hoche.

I kinda like William Hogarth's stuff -- depictions of 17th century vice that elicit a morbid attraction.

Not unlike the attraction to Bob Ross' stuff.
