McCain Hurls F-Bomb at Cornyn Over Immigration Bill
Foxnews.com
Posted on 05/18/2007 3:25:09 PM PDT by harwood
Major Garrett just mentioned this on Fox News. Evidently Cornyn was angry at McCain for leaving him out of the loop. McCain responded with a profanity-laced retort.

I hope there’s video. Wonder if he got all bug-eyed with those veins visibly pulsing on his temples? Ol’ McQueeg may have just had his “YEEEAAARRRGGHHH” moment, that many of us have long expected.
To: harwood
Exactly why I would never vote McCain. His temper is legend.
To: harwood
When John is introduced at the next Repub debate, he needs to be met with the loud chant of “amnesty, amnesty, amnesty!”

Ol McQueeg may have just had his YEEEAAARRRGGHHH moment. . . . Exactly what I was thinking: This may be his "Dean Scream" moment.

I am not a McCain fan, but this hardly fits his character or demeanor. Your failure to supply a URL link to the original article places this headline in question.

McCain is losing it. That train left the station in 2000, if not before.
To: Dante3
This is nothing new. He’s been doing this kind of stuff for years.
To: RegulatorCountry
McCain is straight up nuts.

Your failure to supply a URL link to the original article places this headline in question. Fair point. And if there's no video, this may be like a tree falling in a forest when there's no one around.

No it does fit his demanor and character exactly. It's not the first time he has verbally lashed out at a Congressional colleague in such a manner.
And it's not very presidential!

I met McCain and his wife a few months back. He's old and she's hot and she can afford all the viagra he needs. McCain needs to retire and get jiggidy before he drops dead.
McCain never has been really good at anything except screwing up. He could not fly, he was a lously POW and he'd a crappy Republican. The only good thing about McCain is that he does not cross-dress....

This completely fits his character, demeanor, and temper. I'm sure there's lots of folks on this site that remember McCain's meltdown and angrily hanging up the phone during an interview by Rush Limbaugh during the 2000 primaries. Only someone with ZERO control over their temper would lose it and hang up on Rush Limbaugh during an interview. McCain's next adventure will be the "fairness doctrine" to get rid of those pesky talk radio jerks that make the peasants feel uppity and start asking hard questions of Senators.

Sam Johnson, Congressman from Texas (a true American patriot) was a former POW in Vietnam. I worked on Sam’s first campaign; I’ve seen his twisted fingers that are a result of the torture he endured. I can assure you that Sam is nothing like McCain. McCain’s temper issues are of his own making. Don’t blame his POW status for that.

The behavior might be from a brain metastasis.
