Yes he is.. Because Rush would figure out how to make money if he were attacked by the leftists.. maybe even MORE MONEY than he does now..
Don Imus does not have that ability.. being a liberal.. he is a victim..
And will wallow in his victimhood.. getting all muddy like the pig he is..
Man, I forgot all about those Chinese finger trap things of my childhood days.
They were something else.

All of Shanklin's stuff is funnier than hell! "Fwankwy Iwwesistible" is a hoot! The MSM won't dare play any of it much or in its entirely because it would be a stone hit with the average Joe, who is longing to know it's okay to think stuff like this. It's honest. People aren't dumb so much as shy.
Rush is honest and so is the humor. A lot of half-serious voters who've never heard Rush who got an earful of some Shanklin stuff would get a good laugh because it's honest. That's why the MSM won't play them.
“Rush would figure out how to make money...”
I thought it was a hoot that the writer gave Rush’s show a plug in this hit piece.
They get the internet. The story was essentially emailed to them by David Brock.
I’m surprised that nobody has pointed out that this idiot writer cites the video that Limbaugh had nothing to do with.
You could be right, that the writer DOES know the truth behind the parody, but is banking on the stupidity of his readers to not know the difference and conclude Rush=racist. Probably not a bad bet. I love the comments at youtube for the video accompaniment for the song. Liberals are truly the most willfully ignorant people out there. Even when they are TOLD the reasons/facts behind the parody, they still don’t grasp them. I’ve had this experience many times with liberals. They simply are uninformed and won’t under any circumstances do any critical thinking. They are very good at screaming and tantrums, though. Have to give them that.
When Clinton was caught lying over Monica, the libs responded (among other attempts) with “If Hillary isn’t upset over it, why should you be?”
So, I ask liberals if Obama isn’t upset over this parody, why should you be?
Rush was attacking the media and they are responding the same way.
The media is either:
1. Completely ignorant or,
2. Offended and they think everyone else and/or enough people are ignorant.
I tend to go back and forth between 1 and 2 depending on the issue of the day.
There is a simple explanation: Imus was a liberal who pissed off his politically correct listeners. Limbaugh’s listeners could care less about political correctness.
The parody of Sharpton shouting through a bullhorn is hillarious. It is very clever.
Anyone with half a brain knows its more a pun to Al Sharpton.
You know, a newspaper loses all credibility, when they publish something that is so clueless, so wrong and where the readership knows more about the topic than the paper. They make it seem that Rush’s parody came first, then Ehrenstein wrote an article about the “magic negro”. “Dis” and “dat” and “ax” for ask are a New York accent, nothing racial about it and dats how de Rev Sharpton do put de word down. Shanklin’s imitating how Sharpton speaks. Jeesh.
It certainly appears that the Comical altered the headline after numerous readers pointed out that Limbaugh did not break any laws with this. From “Is Rush Above The Law” it has now been changed to “Is Rush Getting A Free Pass”.
I don’t predict this “Guy” will last long in H-town.
From Wikipedia:
David Ehrenstein From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search David Ehrenstein (born February 18, 1947, in New York City) is an American critic who focuses primarily on issues of homosexuality in cinema. He attended the High School of Music and Art (now the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts) and then Pace College (now Pace University). He now lives in Los Angeles.
His writing career started in 1965 with an interview with Andy Warhol which was published in Film Culture magazine in 1966. Ehrenstein wrote for Film Culture until 1983. During the 1960s he also wrote for December and the Village Voice. In 1976 he moved to Los Angeles with his partner Bill Reed and began work as a film critic and entertainment journalist for the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner and also wrote for Film Comment and Film Quarterly during this period.
In 1982 he collaborated with Bill Reed on the book Rock On Film, while continuing to write for diverse publications, including the San Francisco Examiner, Rolling Stone, Cahiers du Cinéma, Arts, the Los Angeles Reader, Enclitic, and Wide Angle. From the Herald-Examiner he moved to Daily Variety and later The Advocate. He also wrote Film: The Front Line - 1984, a survey of experimental and independent film work. He has contributed to Sight and Sound.
In 1987 he served as the film researcher and historian for the "Hollywood and History" costume exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. In 1992 he published The Scorsese Picture: The Art and Life of Martin Scorsese. In 1998 he published Open Secret: Gay Hollywood 1928-1998. As he documents on his blog and website, lawyers representing Hollywood actor Tom Cruise threatened to take legal action against Ehrenstein because he wrote of how Cruise is appealing to both men and women.
He has appeared often on The E! True Hollywood Story, specifically for the profiles of Rock Hudson, Sonny Bono, and Bob Guccione. Recently he has also written about the film Brokeback Mountain [1] for LA Weekly. His homepage and blog also contain commentary and satire on various journalists, politicians and figures in the entertainment industry.
I guess he hasn't seen Hillary on the campaign trail.
Amen, sister.
I long for the old two paper days in Dallas, but the one we have is losing circulation fast.
Rush has not turned over his finances, etc. to others as so many celebs do because they don’t want to be bothered.
He’s got his finger on his money as well as on the pulse of the nation.
So, the parody is outrageous, but the original article it was making fun of wasn’t?
More liberal hypocrisy.
