From just about everything I've read and heard over the past few days, I think this bill is either DOA or will be severely altered as it moves through the process. I'm guessing even our clueless, thick-headed solons have gotten the point that nobody likes this one.

I am reminded that Senator Kennedy once wrote a children’s book (starring his Water Spaniel — no joke, he has a swimming dog named “Splash”!) called How a Bill Becomes a Law.

Our present laws in this matter are more than adequate.

No new laws are needed.
