Hard to believe ANYONE would wish to devote their lives to murdering the unborn......
I’d bet a paycheck that these students, this girl included, would be outraged if you were to suggest they assist in an execution of a convicted criminal.

If she becomes an abortion practitioner, her decision would be particularly ironic as her father is a pediatrician. But the woman's studies major whose mom bought her a book on Gloria Steinem says she may be needed to do abortions for the next generation of women.
I'm getting the feeling she's not at the top of her class.
Another bottom-feeding med school wannabe, not fit for the practice of real medicine, preparing to dedicate herself to the slaughter of the unborn as an act of defiance against her brother and all oppressive male persons.

I wonder if this moron realize that there WON’T BE A “NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN” if they all get aborted.

If you think abortion is murder, do you think the criminal culpability should be comparable for both?

If laws are changed to declare an infant a person and make abortion murder, then yes.

Don’t remind people about the downside to the ‘good old days’ before abortions. Midwives made a nice side income inducing abortions back in the day. It’s nothing new.

Let the states decide. So the states decide to keep first trimester abortions legal. What then for the pro lifers?

They will just have to work on “changing the hearts and minds” of their fellow residents, something I have been trying to do for years with New Yorkers and now Jerseyites on the issue of firearms, to no avail.

So you want to lock up 1000s doctors who perform abortions, and 100,000s of pregnant women a year seeking abortions too?
What happens to the 100,000s of pregnant women a year serving sentences for attempted murder? Has the pro life movement even broached this very obvious topic?

I agree with that. That’s the best way. Conservatives need to get a grip and realize that a post-Roe landscape is a whole lot like the Roe landscape.

My belief is that most women WON’T have abortions if the legal consequences exist.

Its really not that big of a deal. Women who still wish to murder their children after its illegal will bear the full brunt of the law. Most women will no longer think about abortion as an option, so the canard about "100,000's of women going to jail" is just that -- a canard.
And even if a million women went to jail it would still be worth it to preserve innocent human life. Its a matter of principal.

I met a girl like this about 3 years ago. I was at this bipartisan convention for young political activists and we were at a party after the first day. The first thing she says to me - a complete stranger - “I’m from John Hopkins and I do abortions and I’m proud of it!” So I was like, “wow, so you’re a murderer then” And then her equally pro-abortion female friend and her went ballistic that I called her a murderer (hello? Are you dense/stupid enough to be surprised/hurt by this when a very large number of people might react similarily especially at a bipartisan convention where 1 in 2 people you meet are Republican activists?) . The rest of the week those two and their friend went around proudly telling complete strangers this about them and harassing me (i thoroughly enjoyed it). Later one of their drunk guy friends was like how could you say that to her, she’s very proud of what she does. My response - Being proud of something doesn’t make it right. Killing babies is the last thing one should be proud of.

Still, Lederer admits she's drawn to the grisly practice because abortion is an act of defiance -- a way to thumb her nose at a society that is increasingly pro-life. At The Great White Throne Judgement, she may re-think her position!
