Instead of hurting the gas station owner who is making pennies on a gallon of gas, CUT THE GODDAM TAXES THE STATES ARE IMPOSING. States are charging anywhere from .40 cents to .61 cents on every gallon! YOU WANT TO IMPRESS US CUT THE TAXES!

Idiocy! The best thing to lower prices would be scalpers and profiteering galore. Why? Brings more suppliers and supply headroom — more effective supply, more suppliers means the outcome is only lower prices.

Several states are looking at a “tax holiday” ...will be interesting to see if any actually pass an amnesty.

A CEO of one of the big companies, Valero or Shell, told a senate hearing that it took 4 to 5 years to go throught the paperwork, cost at least two billion dollars to build, and no one wants one in their neighborhood. Thank the government for making it a legal nightmare to build one. I don’t blame the oil companies for not wanting to build.

What is an "unfair profit"?

Only the Socialist Elites can determine who should earn what return on their investment, and who should get the proceeds???

The well known and rehearsed liberal view that companies accomplishing legal profits should answer to and apologize for success.

IMO the state and federal governments are the first of the profiteers that ought to be investigated, seeing as how together they make more on a gallon of gasoline than anyone else.

There are your real criminals. /barf

When Congress outlaws gas, only outlaws will have gas.

Can’t wait to fill ‘er up tomorrow. The price should be around 69 cents per gallon, just the cost of state and federal taxez. The oil companies will be giving the stuff away for free. Way to go Nancy!!!!

22’s are 22” rims. If you really want some “street cred,” try using jersey numbers. For example, “I’m rollin’ on Jordans” means you have 23” rims. Yes, I’m ashamed that I know this.

Everytime an investigation is done into price gouging, nothing is ever found. Another spectacular piece of legislation by the Dems, but it will be played up by the media as sticking it to the man.

More than that...

Arizona refinery permit took seven years, Senate told

How would you like to be responsible for the business model that took 7 years to get permission then 4 more years to build in this volatile price market.
