I just remembered Professor Rummel is Professor Emeritus at the University of Hawaii! I hope his article gets passed out there!
thanks, Wayne!
Lots of radical racist pineapples want us malahinis and haoles out of Hah-Vah-Ii. Harass tourists on Waikiki Beach. No national flag flown at the HW state house blah blah blah. Extreme liberals in Congressional delegations. Native Hawaiians granted racial preferences etc, etc.
Let’s oblige them, get the hell out, and let the oh-so-inclusive Chinese and Japanese take over. Should be fun to watch.
PING! Help spread the word.
I added hawaii to the list of topics. Hope that helps
Hey Biglook! Think you could lend a hand? Or do you know anyone who could?
Freep Norad HAWAII ping?
I have an idea, lets just sacrifice all these moonbats and throw them into a volcano, and watch ‘em burn

Do you live in Hawaii? I visited once (Oahu). It was wonderful. A female peace studies/political science professor I once worked for is at the U of Hawaii. Mxxx
“a female peace studies/political science professor”
Uh, are you sure you’re at the right address?
Anyway, how about a response to my characterization of the political culture of Hawaii? Fire away!
I would go crazy living there in that atmosphere. It’s bad enough in NY State!
If you live in Hawaii, which is what I asked you, then you’re the one I responded to. This particular professor was my boss here and then she moved to Hawaii.
I don’t know what your question is, then. I have seen Hawaii twice, which was enroute to and from Vietnam.
If you insinuate that having not lived there, that I am not qualified to comment on Hawaiian culture, then my writings on the Soviet Union and those of thousands of others are similarly rendered invalid for not having ever lived in the USSR.
My observations from many sources are that the political culture of the state of Hawaii is extremely liberal, like that of Massachusetts, a state which I have also never visited.
Guess then I don’t know from the Battle of Bunker Hill, either.
“female peace studies”
Is it possible actually to utter those words without laughing or puking? And, if so, why would one want to?

I wonder how it turned out? I didn’t hear about this rally at all but I did see Ollie and company on the news last eve.
Here is a little snippet about a rally that took place here recently:
~~~~~~’War’ protest that isn’t
My husband and I have wondered in the past why, in a state where public opinion is so opposed to the war in Iraq as Hawaii, so few people turned out for protests in Hilo. At a recent Saturday we found out why.~~~~~~~
Unfortunately(sp), I can’t find the rest of the link why they found out...will post if i locate it.
I’m not intimidating that at all! I simply asked you a question: Do you live in Hawaii? It’s a yes or no answer. I guess it’s no. I was just impressed with Hawaii when I won a trip there.
No, I’ve never lived there. I thought of vacationing in Hawaii (meaning Oahu) but was told by many veteran tourists that Honolulu was nothing more than “Wal-Marts with palm trees.”
Anyway, it’s still a very liberal state.
I loved it, but then I like to shop! Lots of little shops with Chinese people selling stuff. I won a trip so I went, otherwise I never could have. The other islands are probably less full of people.
Sorry, but I missed the memo on this - what does “GOE” stand for, please?
if you have more questions, www.gatheringofeagles.org and the Gathering of Eagles listing at the top of the forum pages here at FR.
the first event was pulled together in about a month, or so. there were to be anti-war demonstrations by ANSWER, NOW, Code Pink, Black Panthers, and more on March 17 in DC. They threatened to damage the war memorials among other things. So there was a counter-demonstration by GOE, FReepers, Move America Forward, Rolling Thunder and other groups (I can't remember all the names). We were there to protect the memorials! We did a FINE job of it, too. The DC police and Parks Department were thankful for our help. There were people who had objects of destruction removed from their persons, and a few people detained. There were a group of us working as Marshalls, to be added eyes and ears for the DC police and the Parks Service.
It was one of the most memorable and powerful events I have been a part of. Our side was very well behaved considering how some of the anti-war protesters were in thier faces. Others of them were like whipped puppies. To me the priceless one was a group of our teens who held the sidewalk, not allowing the anti-war protesters to pass on the sidewalk. When a big guy (moonbat, as they are often referred to) stepped up to one of the teens to get their face, the teen's mom stepped up into the moonbat's face and said "Don't mess with my kid!". He took the grass, and walked around the teens!
There are now chapters being put together in each state. They are veterans, vet families and friends, supporters of our troops. They do things to support the troops, like the ORA (Operation Recruiter Appreciation) events across the nation last month... everyone ws encourage to find their local recruiters and do something to let them know they were appreciated. When we hear of anti-war things going on, there is a move to counter it as much as possible with whomever is nearby and able.
Any more questions, just let me know!
Thank you very much, I appreciate that.
No Wal-Marts on Waikiki beach. No need to leave there, either. And the Big Island is awesome. Rural, mostly quiet. You’d love it. Most people I know who don’t like it partied in bars the whole time and missed the point.
