amnesty am-nes-ty -n 1. a general pardon for offenses against a government

We have been fighting the amnesty bill as if the future of our country depends on our efforts... because it does. As working, voting, law-abiding, thinking Americans, we can only come to one conclusion: the Senate will intentionally ignore the will of the people, and put their own political ambitions ahead of what is good for the United States of America. This agenda is unacceptable, and we have rejected it utterly. Moreover, it constitutes a direct threat to the future of this republic, because it indicates that there are members of the body politic who no longer answer to the will of the people, the Constitution, or even to rational thought itself.

THE REPRESENTATIVES WHO WILL VOTE TO SUPPORT THIS BILL ARE VOTING ANTI-AMERICAN.

Keep the pressure on, because the Senate is hoping this will all just go away if they wait long enough. Write, call, email, and fax your representatives... and DO NOT STOP. If you are unable to reach your Congressional or Senate rep, try the office of El Presidente. Contact your local and state party representatives, and the Republican and Democrat National Committees. Keep building the tidal wave that we need to KILL THIS BILL!

I can sum it up in two words: CHEAP LABOR. Congress and the president are looking to induct a new crop of serfs who work cheaper than the citizens and have no upward mobility because they’ll never learn English. They’ll die being waiters, janitors, and manual labor.

Very interesting. Probably one of the best I’ve read on the subject.

“Madison, Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay and others devised a system and embedded the Constitution with mechanisms to thwart the “natural” tendency of the political class to usurp power—to become a permanent elite lording over pauperized subjects”

It didn’t work. The elected misrepresentatives do damn well whatever they want. Abridge the 1st amendment, Yup. Infringe on the 2nd? All the time. They even decide when to give themselves more pay and how much.

They’ve twisted the interstate commerce clause to extend their powers over every facet of a citizen’s life.

Republican lawmakers we spoke with knew that naturalized Latin American immigrants and their offspring vote mostly for the Democratic Party, but still most of them (all except five) were unambiguously in favor of amnesty and of continued mass immigration (at least from Mexico). This seemed paradoxical, and explaining their motivations was more challenging. However, while acknowledging that they may not now receive their votes, they believed that these immigrants are more malleable than the existing American: That with enough care, convincing, and "teaching," they could be converted, be grateful, and become dependent on them. Republicans seemed to idealize the patron-client relation with Hispanics as much as their Democratic competitors did.

It is time to FIRE nearly every elected republican in both houses.

The democrats - cunning, soulless, irrational, America-hating hand-wringers, are a foregone conclusion and are far beyond any hope of redemption. When the next primaries roll around, be prepared to expend energy, time, and money to vote new republican blood into office. The likes of the RINOs are destroying our country as surely as any democrat ever has.

Of course mass immigration is being used by the political elites to undermine democratic rule and self-government.

That's been obvious for a very long time.

Less well known, the political elites have selected Mexicans to be the vanguard of the proletariat so that full anti-semitic government policies may readily be put into place AND the Orientals kept out.

We've had this garbage before ~ Juan Peron, a series of Mexican Presidents, Vargas, Castro, etc., but in different countries.

Interesting that the Senate leadership has been able to co-opt so many elderly and senile Republican senators to their cause. You'd expect those guys to have at least some memory of what has gone on in the past.

Here is a number(1-800-417-7666), obtained from Michelle Malkin's blog, that will give you direct access to your senator. You don't have to know the name of your senators, it will tell you who they are. It is set up so illegals can call and say yes to illegal alien amnesty. We can use it for our own ends. It has several organizations behind it but they ultimately lead to Soros. There is a phone line for spanish and one for English, this is the number for English, use it to call your senators and put the cost on to Cair and Soros. I did. You have to put up with a rant about telling your senator to vote for the bill and it tells you to make sure to call again to contact your other senator, but after that you are connected directly to your senators DC office. Use this number, make them pay for it. Cheers!:) 1-800-417-7666.

After reading this article, written by a Mexican, no less, I’m ready to vote for a picture of a dead dog over anyone currently in Washington.

Democrats wanted increased immigration because Latin American immigrants tend to vote Democrat once naturalized... and Republicans like immigration because their sponsors (businesses and churches) do.

This is like two guys going to Las Vegas, the Democrat is going to Vegas to own the casino, and the mathematical certainty of winning, while the Republican is excited because he was given $1000 to spend in the casino and thinks he's going to get rich betting against that same mathematical certainty.

The Republican Party is certainly acting like the STUPID party with this illegals amnesty!

There are a few good conservatives left in Washington. Duncan Hunter is one... We need many more like him.

But, while they may not move up, they continue to have children that will sap your life essence and you will pay and pay and pay for them.

have no upward mobility because they’ll never learn English. They’ll die being waiters, janitors, and manual labor.

AND, fill our schools with poorly prepared kids who were 'medicated' thru medicaid and the 'free' emergency rooms, while eating foods purchased with food stamps?

One even called them "rednecks," and apologized to us on their behalf for their incorrect attitude on immigration.

Ten to one, that's Lindsey Graham being quoted.

The corollary to this is that wages for American citizens will fall. Employers have only so many paths to increase profits. The easiest is to reduce labor costs by hiring those who will work for lower wages.

I completely agree. With free healthcare, free schooling, and loans from Bank of America that will never be paid back, where’s the incentive to be a productive citizen and make anything more than $5.15/hr?

Another thing the illegals are doing is drumming up business for the healthcare industry by bringing their 3rd-world diseases and lack of hygiene with them.
