I know. My kids knew my brother in law was gay and I always warned them not to dress skimpily in front of him when he and his partner came to the house. They did understand. When he died, he left them each my first late husband’s share of his money, which I thought was good hearted of him. He had one partner for many years and wasn’t a ‘cruiser.’ There IS a difference. I agree, kids shouldn’t be exposed to all that early on. It’s too confusing.
