Eh.... as long as everyone treats it as a joke it’ll stay that way.

If they believe so fervently in their interpretation of scriptures that they’re willing to reject everything that can be tested and determined (and doesn’t necessarily conflict with scriptures) then so be it. It’s their problem they don’t understand science, not mine.

There are fiction movies - why not a fiction museum?

There called Natural Science Museums and they have been around for years.

“There called Natural Science Museums and they have been around for years.”

What you say?

The museum in the article isn’t called “natural science museum.”

It should be called the Fred Flintstone museum, though.

"Most Americans believe in the Bible, which teaches that land animals were created along with Adam and Eve."

But I really can't recall even the slightest inference of any T-Rex's running about, munching on apples, playing catch, etc. Am I wrong?

Did the dinosaurs and mammals get along on Noah's ark or did they have to be separated?

This is a national embarrassment, and makes us all look like retards.

So stop being a Evo retard and become a Creationist.

I think both sides are driven by emotional reactions in this case. On FR it is often noted that liberals are more emotion driven, while conservatives are more reason driven.

As a general principle, that’s valid. This is a case where some conservatives (and to be fair, there is nothing really conservative about this) are driven by emotion.

Abortion is another case where both sides are driven by strong emotional reactions.

Science has its own set of rules, and religion has its own set of rules. The more simple minded become befuddled - and even enraged - when they try to apply one set of rules on the other.

The Book of Job speaks of the “behemoth” with “a tail like a cedar.” Sounds vaguely familiar.

Q. What's harder than getting a pregnant Brontosaurus into the ark?

A. Getting a Brontosaurus pregnant in the ark!

(Noah! Make them stop. I'm getting seasick!)

Oh, now I understand. I had always thought that reference was to Rosie O'Donnell.

What you say?

I did not say anything: I wrote something. You are the perfect example of the problem we have with kids coming out of public schools:

You can write something and they can't read it; but public schools tell them something like Evolution and they will follow.
