I find the whole self-righteous indignation about sex pretty much hypocritical and not based in any sort of historical reality (there was never a "golden age" of chaste people).

I won't venture a guess as to her virginity. I wasn't a virgin when I married and I wasn't a very good husband either. I do believe I'm a better husband now. In other words I used to behave in one manner but decided to change. I don't believe her words are any less relevant because of speculation of her past.

If you choose for sex to be casual enjoyment, that's your choice. There are plenty of others who feel the same (I used to).

It’s a wonderful article, and I fully agree with it. I think it would be good to give a copy of it to girls in public high schools all across America. I don’t think guys would pay much attention to it necessarily, but some girls would really take it to heart.

The sexual revolution has led to a lot of unhappiness, STDs, out of wedlock pregnancies, abortions, and divorce. Imagine a society where everyone did wait until marriage. In this world it seems impossible. That society would be extremely healthy and happy I would bet.
